Yes, but I think there will be a competition. Some might call it staged, but I don't think Wilson will be anointed the starter anytime soon.

Queen is a three-down LB, which is what they needed with Holcomb's future uncertain. He made all-Pro so I'm sure the Steelers are hoping he can bring that level of play to them.

They need a starting corner, even if he's just a placeholder for a rookie draft pick. So they'll have to spend some money there.

I'm sure Queen is going to get a big signing bonus so there should be room for a starting corner. Do you have one you would like to see the Steelers sign?

CB is a priority in the draft so I don't think they need a top tier type of corner. Maybe a one-year starter until the rookie is ready. Maybe get a guy like Adoree Jackson for two years and $10 million. Something like that.

If you're the Steelers, why would you trade a QB who has proven he can manage games well and win for you for late-round pick? Mac Jones fetched a sixth. Is Kenny Pickett fetching more than that? I doubt it.

Any chance the Steelers take the nose tackle from Texas in the first if he's availble? Benton looks more like a Tuitt or Heyward so he could bump ouy.

You don't draft nose tackles in the first round anymore. Those days are long gone. Plus, Benton is versatile, but he's just fine over the nose in the base. And they're only in base 25-30% of the time.

I hope he gets good offers. He played well at the end of the season. He deserves it. But he also didn't have many offers last year at this time.

the five-technique aligns on the offensive tackle whereas the three-technique aligns over the guard. Cam lines up everywhere on the line, especially in sub-packages.

Hi Ray:  Thanks for the chats.  The cheap price for Wilson may be too cute by half for the Steelers.  They will lose Rudolph.  If Wilson is given the job and has a Baker Mayfield like comeback year (OK but not great), then next year Wilson will want a multiyear contract for 35 mil plus.  They may destroy Pickett in the process and need 3 QBs in a 2-year window.  Just say’in.

I just think they want to win this year, and Wilson represents the best way for that to happen. I think they'll worry about 2025 in 2025.

Love queen signing but it would be nice to settle one of the offensive holes. Like the center from Miami or 3rd wr. Give more flexibility in draft
