Generally, I agree with you, but if the Steelers believe Jenkins is a terrific prospect and can be better than Zach Banner they will take him. They'd be going about the draft the wrong way if they didn't.

Hi Ray. I read that Alex Highsmith could potentially follow the same path as James Farrior, starting at outside linbacker and moving inside. If the Steelers draft an outside backer early do you think Highsmith could go inside at some point?

I don't really view him in that manner, especially with the way the NFL is trending with the passing game.

Hi Ray. Don't you think it would be a good idea to trade back a few spots (if they get a partner).. pick a RB left and then trade back up in the 2nd using the capital to get another player they like?

Yes it does, but a team has to want to come up AND the Steelers have to know a player they want will be available when they move back. It's not a simple decision.
