He plead guilty to a misdemeanor and two traffic violations. The serious charges were dropped.

Ray, TE position is a real question mark.  I say cut ties with Ebron (cannot or will not block and drops too many passes) and Gentry (bust from the start).  Put Pat Freiermuth/Jesse James/Kevin Rader on the 53 man roster and roll out the new offense with these guys.  Your opinion?
Ray Fittipaldo

If they were going to cut Ebron they would have done it in March or April. For better or worse, he's going to be on the team this season.

I know this is a Steelers chat so feel free to skip the question, but which coach Sullivan vs Tomlin has under performed most that last few seasons given talent on hand, expectations, etc?
Ray Fittipaldo

I know the last few seasons means since the their last Stanley Cup in 2017. But the fact that Sullivan won two Cups in back-to-back years gives him an edge over Tomlin in that regard because it's been 13 years since Tomlin won a Super Bowl. And mind you, the Penguins aren't eliminated yet though that likelihood seems like a strong possibility being down 3-2 with a trip to Long Island looming Wednesday night.

Does Mike Tomlin work out with the team? He has gained a lot of weight over the past decade. Is it diet, too many long nights in the film room or a lack of exercise? Players only respect coaches in shape.

Right. That's why Bruce Arians and Andy Reid won the past two Super Bowls. They're pictures of good health.

Is Bush recovery on track?  How much impact to his burst from that injury longer term?  I'm not a big fan (saw him get torched by tOSU a few times so I fear he isn't an elite talent) but he is important key to the defense getting back on track in my opinion.

Everything I've heard is that he is on track to return and be ready for the season opener. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to talk to him soon. OTAs started today, and the Steelers made Cam Heyward available. Two more OTAs tomorrow and Thursday and then two more weeks of OTAs and a minicamp after that.

Hi Ray you think we'll ever see #39 in a #43 type role where he's all over the field maximizing his potential?

Polamalu was a special player. That's why he's in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was unique. Fitzpatrick is an excellent player in his own right, but he's only four years into his career. I think you'll see him grow as a player and he'll continue to get better, but don't expect him to have a Polamlau-type role. Only Polamalu truly knew what he was doing on the field. Many times the coaches didn't know where he would align or end up.

Are the steelers thinking their front 7 can overcome lack of depth on the corners?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:45
I think the Steelers made a business decision regarding Steven Nelson and will evaluate James Pierre and Justin Layne in camp. If they don't impress then the position will be be addressed. I don't think having a strong front even factored into their equation at all. They know you have to be strong across the board to have a truly great defense.

Hi Ray what is your gut instinct prediction of the Steelers record for the upcoming season?  Thanks for the chat
Ray Fittipaldo

Gut is 9-8.

Why is so many people so upset with Safety TE.  When HOF safety TP was playing his playing partners were not making a ton of splash plays.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:47
Yes but players like Tyrone Carter and Ryan Clark and others weren't first-round picks. Terrell Edmunds was the No. 28 overall pick in the draft. And why can't a team have two quality safeties. Is that against the rules?
2:48
Ok that's it for this week we'll see you next week on the same channel.
