He is expected to be ready for the start of the season.

Do we use a FB much this year?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:26
Canada has had success with fullbacks over the years when he was in charge of college offenses, but it's early June and way too early to say.

More likely to be the 2022 LT - Chuks or Dan Moore?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:27
If I had to guess right now I'll say Chuks.

Is Ben working with Kendrick Green at Center now?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:28
Roethlisberger said today one of the reasons he's showing up for OTAs is the new centers. Green is one of them, but BJ Finney and JC Hassenauer also are in the mix. Ben played with Hassenauer some last season but not a lot.

between Spillane and Vince, who do you believe will see more snaps to start the season?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:29
Williams because he has experience, but I can see Spillane playing too depending on the opponent and the situation.

Ray: There must be a fine line between being fresh and rested at the end of a season vs sharp and conditioned.  Do you think with all of the veteran's days off during camp and the regular season (e.g.Ben not practicing on Wednesdays), the late season collapses come from poor conditioning and lack of sharpness compared to other teams at the end of the year?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:31
They always study that type of stuff and try to figure out the best schedule. Listen, it's a long season. You need to rest your best players. Every team does it, but given what's transpired here the past few years I am sure they are looking at all the possibilities and different scenarios that might change their luck.

I re-watched the Steelers playoff game against the Browns on NFL network the other day.  C. Marsh was trucked on almost every running play and challenged to get any pressure in the passing game.  What do they see that we are missing?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:34
Lots of defenders had bad days in that game. Not making excuses, but did anyone play well? And who says Marsh is going to be their No. 3 OLB. He is now, but it's June 1. They make moves every summer if they're not happy with their depth.

PFF had Steeler OL personnel ranked very low last season. In fact AV was highest rated guy. Given that, doesn’t the OL just about have to be better this year?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:37
It might be better, but not all of it has to do with personnel. They changed coaches and their running scheme. All of it factors in.

Is lining Harris up wide, just a recreation of the same old thing?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:40
Well yes, but it was successful when Le'Veon Bell was in that role. Lots of teams line up their RBs as WRs if they're capable. The Steelers are lucky enough to have an RB who can take advantage of mismatches in the passing game.

How’s devin bush looking with the rehab on his knee?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:41
Bush is on schedule to play a full season.

Hey Ray big Steelers fan in California it drives me crazy how much Big Ben gets disrespected by the national media. And why are the Steelers are getting no respect as a team everyone is on the browns and ravens and even the Bengals
Ray Fittipaldo
2:42
Probably because of that 1-5 finish to the season that included giving up 48 points in a home playoff game.

You think Harvin wins the spot?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:44
If he is consistent in camp and can show he can handle the job then yes I think he's the punter. They drafted him for a reason.

When the NFL Stat masters assess drops by a WR, I assume they account for bad throws but is it a outfit to outfit subjective thing or is there a consensus standard they go by?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:46
My understanding is it's up to each individual stat crew. I know coaches go in and changes stats after reviewing film, but only certain stats are officially amended after the game ends.

Do you think any of our QB backups are trade bait (a'la Dobbs circa 2019)?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:46
Depends on the development of Hakins.
Haskins...

OK that's all the time we have this week. See you next week at the same time.
