I believe the Steelers lease at Heinz field expires in 2031, just 9 years away.  Do you envision them ever leaving for a new venue and if so, could it be outside the confines of the City of Pittsburgh but still in southwestern,  PA?

I'm old enough to remember the threat to leave downtown for Washington, Pa. Ha ha. Maybe the new stadium can go next to Wild Things Park and W&J's campus.

When do you think Chris Boswell will get a new deal and do you think will be able to afford him where can you see him walking in free agency
Ray Fittipaldo

Boswell is in his prime as a kicker. Those guys can play a long time so I think they'll sign him.

Have you heard of any USFL players drawing interest from the Steelers or any other NFL team?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:52
No, but if the Steelers sign a Maulers player they'll be happy to know there is much more on the menu at Saint Vincent's than chicken salad.

Hi Ray- thanks for the chats.  If Watson is suspended for a full seasons what if any impact does that have on the Browns cap this year and it next season.
Ray Fittipaldo

It's guaranteed money. So lots of impact.

Biggest question mark on offense (ex the obvious QB transition) OT?  Are you surprised they doubled down on in house solution?  How do you see that position group holding up over the course of a long season?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:56
They like Dan Moore. A fourth-round rookie starting all season at left tackle is rare. And I think we saw that ups and downs that come along with that decision to start him. The Chuks signing was a mild surprise because this was a deep class of OTs in the draft, but they can address that position going forward if Moore and Chuks don't play well this year.

Ray, Maybe I’m too optimistic, but I think the offense will be dynamic With Trubisky’s ability to move around the pocket and run and throw, coupled with all of the weapons they have on offense.  I think the defense will be better this year as well, so I am expecting a playoff spot. Am I overly optimistic?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:56
For me? Yes, just because of the QB situation. But I agree the defense should be very good. And I like the pieces on offense. I just have some doubts about the coordinator and how everything fits on that side of the ball.

Chances the legendary Tuzar Skipper makes the roster with the thin depth at OLB?? lol
Ray Fittipaldo
2:57
Ah the Tuzar Skipper story lines reappear. Can't wait for the 53-man roster projections.

A comp I have seen for Kenny Pickett is Joe Burrow..... I see where they're coming from but is this a bit of a reach?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:58
We shall see. I think a lot of that comes because Pickett has some swag. And I love that about him. We'll see if he can do what Burrow does on the field.

I have seen expert say that CB depth is an issue. Witherspoon, Wallace, Sutton, Norwood, Maulet, Pierre isn't the worst group I've ever heard of
Ray Fittipaldo
2:59
Maybe not, but it's not like there is a shutdown corner among them.

Thanks for always answering peoples questions and not being a jerk on these chats. A lot of times, the people running these are arrogant and act smarter than everyone. Thanks for always being respectful of those asking questions, as dumb as some of them may be!

Thanks, The Truth. Hope everyone enjoys them.

Hi Ray, I saw that 39 wants to do what 43 used to - when do we turn him loose?  It seems like we're playing it safe with him
Ray Fittipaldo

I see them as different types of players. But I think Minkah is very good.
