It would be a huge disappointment if the defense took a step back. I think Sutton is the biggest loss because he was so versatile and smart. But they added a savvy vet in Peterson to take his place. I think Peterson can help the secondary. But let's be real, there is too much money invested in this defense for it to take a step back. They invested all that money in the unit for a reason.
