Noon Vince, and DeCastro said he needs surgery. So he won't be playing anywhere for a while. He might be a midyear signing or I could see him retiring.

Do players in the locker room care if Najee or any other player chooses not to get vaccinated?
Ray Fittipaldo

I'm sure they'll care if it ever affects them in any way whether that's on the field or off the field. For now, I don't think it's a big issue because the season doesn't start for another six weeks.

Interesting take in another publication about potentially franchising Watt.  Doesn't seem like the Steelers' MO with core players even if financially makes sense, right?

It's not their MO, but this is a unique situation because the potential price tag. He's going to make anywhere between $25-30 million a year on his next contract. By franchising him you give yourself almost an extra year to negotiate. And that might be important if we have another uncertain cap situation should the NFL be forced to go back to limited capacity for games this year.

Do you anticipate the Steelers returning to Latrobe next year assuming the current virus situation is over by then?  Thanks.

"Assuming the current virus situation is over by then..." I think we all assumed this would be over once a vaccine arrived, but the way this country is divided I have no idea what 2022 will look like. It seems like we are going backward at the moment.

Not a question but an observation-this O line reminds me of the 1989 group (my favorite team, my 9th grade year), that lost Webster and fielded a young Dermontti Dawson, John Jackson, Brian Blankenship, John Rienstra, and the first round guy from Pitt we got in Merriweather trade..ricketts

Those are some names from the past! Hopefully, this offense won't get outscored 92-10 in their first two games.

With his legal problems, do you think Watson play this season for the Texans or possibly another team if traded?

Hard to say right now. I'm not sure why Watson isn't on the exempt list. That's what the league usually does with players who have legal issues. My guess is he gets traded because it doesn't seem like the Texans want to deal with his situation.
