Do you know if either or both of Dupree's sacks were against the first team line/RT?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:32
I think his first sack was against the starters. Not sure about his second one.

Are you willing to make a prediction of the Steelers' record prior to their bye?  They play NE, Seattle, SF, Cincy, Ravens and Chargers.
Ray Fittipaldo

3-3 or 2-4.

Any word on Ola’s surgery?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:33
He's expected to miss 2-4 weeks, per Gerry Dulac.

Hi Ray - What do you think the chances are of Diontae Spencer making the final 53 - like Stefan Logan did a few years ago?  He looked very dynamic in the return game, and also on the end around run he had.  Thanks for the amazing chats!!!
Ray Fittipaldo
2:35
He looked very good. But Logan also returned kickoffs and did that job when kickoff returners were more important. With the new rules now, the kickoff returner might get one or two opportunities on average to return a kick every game.

Ray,  How would you access Snell as a runner?  Seems average at best but special teams I would say has him making the team.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:36
I thought Snell was better in Week 2 than Week 1 of the preseason. But he still has a ways to go. He's an inside runner and must realize it.

Ray. What do you think of Ulysses Gilbert? Do you think he makes the 53?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:37
He's making a strong push. It will come down to his ability on special teams. I thought he was more noticeable on special teams against the Chiefs.

What happened to Moncrief after the fumble?  Did he get hurt or did they just rotate players?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:37
I think they had a plan to only play him a certain amount of time. He was coming off a finger injury.

Ray, if UGIII continues to improve and makes it onto the final roster, do you think there’s any scenario where they would utilize a package of having 3 speedy ILBs on the field (Barron, Bush, UGIII) against a team like say, Baltimore, that doesn’t present too much of a downfield passing threat? Thank so much
Ray Fittipaldo
2:39
Not sure about that. They have so many versatile defensive backs that could do similar things.

6 CBs this year?  Haden, Nelson, Burns, Hilton plus Layne AND Sutton?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:40
Yeah that's a pretty good bet. Then you keep four safeties. Or maybe three if you really think Hilton and Sutton can play safety if there are injuries.

Ray, Was our first team D going against KC's first team OL?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:42
For a couple of series, yes.

Hi Ray. It appears Gentry is having a decent camp. Will this keep the Steelers from making a move to acquire another TE? Thank you
Ray Fittipaldo
2:44
Probably not. Even if he has been decent I don't know if he's good enough to be a No. 2. That's the most important thing. They have to find a capable No. 2 behind McDonald. If they don't think Grimble or Gentry is viable then they'll seek a trade or sign a TE from another team after final cut downs.

Who is better? Cleveland or Baltimore?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:45
Interesting question. I'd say Baltimore just because I have more confidence in John Harbaugh. He knows how to win games. Freddie Kitchens has yet to earn his first NFL victory. And he's got many more personalities to deal with.
2:46
OK thanks for all the great questions this week. We'll do it again next week.
