It's not on the front office to make that decision. It's up to team president Art Rooney II to make that call. He could have done it after last season, but he didn't. Now he has to live with the results.

Ray,  I understand Najee is a first round pick so they must have to play him, but it's obvious, Jaylen Warren, creates something from nothing, almost every time he touches the ball!  They started using Jaylen to start the 2nd half too.  Is it possible they play him more exclusively??

Tomlin was asked about the snap distribution at RB today and acknowledged Warren has earned the right to play more. So we might be moving toward more of a true RB rotation.

Do you foresee a cicumstance in which the Steelers would let go of an assistant coach mid-season? or at least take away his / her duties mid-season and have someone take over play calling for him/her (trying to be politically correct here and by the way, why don't we have women coaches?).

It's not the Steelers Way to make a change like that in-season. Then again, it's not the Steelers Way to stink up the joint as an offense for three-plus seasons.

Hi Ray. Thanks for the chat. The players are saying all the right things about MC but is there a point where the veterans say “We need a change. This offensive system is terrible. It’s not working”?  It seems everyone but MT sees this offense as a dumpster fire.

Ray, My big worry with this game was D-line vs Chubb. If he was healthy throughout the game, I think he would have controlled it and the Browns win, but I’ll take the win. Your thoughts?

He was at the facility today after being evaluated at the hospital last night. Tomlin didn't say whether he thinks he'll play versus the Raiders, but I think it's possible.

When, if ever, was the last time a QB had two personal fouls in a game? At least with Kenny, you wouldn't eat a lot of salary if he doesnt work out.

Well, there is no fullback on the roster and unlike his predecessors, Canada does not like using extra tackles as tight ends in short-yardage situations. Last night on the third-and-1 with 3:02 left he had Calvin Austin in the game. He wants to tirck 'em rather than beat 'em.

Thanks for the chats, Ray. I understand installing a new offensive system isn't possible mid-season. However, wouldn't replacing Canada with someone like Mike Sullivan at least provide some new wrinkle? At the very least, having a different play caller. I legit cant say Canada does one thing right. He absolutely is jeopardizing this season.

Ray, are the Steelers offensive problems because of play design, play execution, play calling or a combination of all three? At this point in the season would replacing Canada have any effect on the first two or just the in game play calling?

Ray, teams who have flipped offensive coordinators (ravens, commanders etc) have greatly improved offense. Why there is so much hesitation for Steelers to go that route when there was a strong pool available last off season!

After watching the Niner's, Eagles, Dallas etc, the gap between them and the Steelers is so vast.  This season will be a repeat of last year,  beat the bad teams and get blown out by the real contenders no?
