I do not understand why the Steelers are using so much 11 personnel (1 TE, 1 RB, 3 WRs) instead of 12 personnel (2 TE, 1 RB, 2 WR) which would be considerably better for the run game and mismatches on RPOs.  If Ebron cannot block efficiently, why to do have him on the roster? Trade him for a competent TE.  Any thoughts?

Norwood did not do an interview after the game. Not sure if he's doing one this week, either. It's one of the problems with the NFLPA closing the locker rooms this week. We don't have the access we would normally have to ask these types of questions.

It just seems like the offense is having difficulty "gelling" through the first 2 weeks of the season.  Just knowing that Ben and his receivers (JuJu, DJ, CC, Wash, & Ebron) have been together through a season already, how long do you think it will be before we see them play cohesively together?

I'm sure you're getting this question a lot but I have to ask, what became of the new revamped offense?  It looks like just more of the same - 40 pass attempt, 14 rushes.  And of course, the same excuse of they only ran 14 times because it wasn't working.  Any team that is really committed to running keeps at even if teams shut it down in the first half unless they fall far behind, and the Steelers were still in it for most of that game.

I'd come out in the no huddle and see if the offense can get on the board early. What they've schemed up against Buffalo and Vegas left a lot to be desired.

We've seen Buggs step up on occasions when there have been injuries. I'm thinking of the Baltimore game in Baltimore last year. Now he has to do it over the long term with Alualu  out. Same goes for Davis. He's talented. Now he has to play a lot more.

The Defense was "night and day" against the Raiders compared to how they played at Buffalo.  Who was more at fault for the 61-yard TD to Ruggs? Minka, Weatherspoon, or Tomlin?

Minkah took the blame after the game. Tomlin said today a lot of poeple are culpable, including him. He said maybe he could have made a better call there.

Problem is it’s hard to commit to running the ball when teams are stacking the box with 8-9 and it’s not like ben is 24 anymore and can make any throw from out of the pocket scrambling

biggest issue on team besides injuries piling up is obviously the oline. People Bashing Ben are not watching. Too may failed runs and 3rd and longs. trying to be optimistic that line will gell and getting Banner back will help? should it?

Ray, what are your thoughts on the "unnecessary roughness" call against Spillane for his hit on Derek Carr while Carr was acting like a running back and not sliding at the end of his run?  Looked to me like Spillane led with his shoulder.  Terrible call by the officials, IMO.  What say you?

I didn't like it. It was one of those situations where the hit looked worse than it was.

Ray, sorry if you've been asked this 1000x, does the O-line look bad thru and thru? Are there some culprits playing worse than others? How is Dan Moore holding up, relatively speaking?

Each guy on the line has their issues. They're not all bad all the time. But if one is bad it can screw up the entire play.

I asked Tomlin that question today. He said he's not making any changes. At least not this week.

Any word on when Banner will be back? he's not exactly Anthony Munoz, but watching Crosby run over, around, and through him Sunday, something has to change with RT.

I guess they don't think Joe Haeg is any good. He's the only option until Banner comes off IR. And Banner can;t come off until next week at the earliest.
