How do the Steelers get called for illegal formation on kickoffs more than once this season? Under the new rules, you're basically only allowed to line up one way.

Doesn't the coaching staff have access to the same replays we see at home? If so, why does MT challenge plays that will obviously not be overturned and not challenge plays that could be over turned?

I think they have more than what you see at home. They have the in-stadium feed as well.

That's what everyone wants to know. I didn't go to Tomlin's post-game news conference (I went to Cincinnati's) but apparently he said he was waiting to see the replay on the video board at the stadium.

They've tried Sutton some there. He's been in a different role the past four weeks with Morgan Burnett out. Maybe they will look to him again if/when Burnett comes back.

I see a lot of negative comments on Vince William's, but isnt he lily pretty solid?  Not a Pro Bowler, but certainly dependable.

Yeah all three sacks came from interior linemen and Vince Williams. They need more consistent pressure from the outside. It can't be big games one week and then nothing the next week.

Hello. Thank you as always for a good chat.  My understanding is that player on IR can come back after 8 weeks. Does that include the bye week ? If Ola is allowed to practice this week after 6 weeks as allowed , can he be active for Cleveland game  ? . Or  does  the 8 week period means 8 games? Thanks again

Ola Adeniyi and Eli Rogers are eligible to practice this week. Doesn't mean they will, but they are eligible to return to the practice field. Once they do there is a 21-day window for the Steelers to determine if they'll elevate to the 53-man roster.

I went to the Cincinnati locker room after the game and wrote two stories on the scene in there after the game. I can't be in two places at once. We have four or five other reporters/columnists who went to the Steelers locker room.

Hi Ray, I was watching Red Zone yesterday and following Steeler game. They first showed that play where AB left game, after getting plastered in head. I saw that it was Burfict but NO mention by commentator at all that it was Burfict. What was immediate reaction in press box?

We all saw it right away. It was like a replay of the hit from the 2015 AFC wild card game. Almost identical.

What is the exact nature of Ben's elbow injury? Saying his normal throwing motion causes higher levels of pain sounds like it is something that is season long and could be season ending at some point...

I am guessing he doesn't have a great feel yet for his role, his knowledge of the offense. Plus, it doesn't look like he's getting open when he does play.

Ray, what have you heard on Birthdefects foul playing?  Is his elbow to AB's head being looked at ?  Read that Ben heard him threatening JuJu at the line too.  You know his going to seriously hurt someone someday.

He already has seriously injured several players. Antonio Brown, Maxx Williams and others.

Assuming the asking price for Peterson is a 1st Rd pick, don't you think that is a move we should make for a team that needs to win NOW.  Nothing in the draft next year is going to be immediate help.

I'd definitely consider it, but I don't pretend to know if Patrick Peterson is still playing at a high level. I haven't seen the Cardinals play all season.

Is their a reason we aren’t playing Cam Sutton opposite Haden. Wouldn’t Burns or Sensabaugh be better suited covering the opposing teams 4th or 5th receiver??
