Bryant missed 2 days of practice last week because he was ill. The more time they get together on the practice field the more beneficial it will be for them.

Ray, eventhough the AFC west is strong, I believe they will have a harder time playing with each other and also vs the NFC east. So the Steelers really have a strong opportunity for Home Field advantage, right?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:55
You're assuming the Patriots will continue to struggle. Don't assume that.

Ray I was at the Steelers/Bears game last week! I watched the game yesterday and From.what I seen its the playcalling! Are the players complaining about Haley playcalling at times or is it just the fans?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:56
They won the game. Why complain after a win?

Hi Ray, great chats ! Long time reader, first time writer ! Do you Think Bud Dupree is playing at a high level ?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:56
High level? No. But he's been OK.

Ray, this past Sunday, did the running lanes simply open or Bell is fully back to form or simply BOTH?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:57
They fed him, which they needed to do. He got into a rhythm. I think he's better the more he touches the ball. He was better in the second half because the Ravens got worn down.
Leaper
12:57
Bell's performance, more, he's finally in shape or Baltimore's depleated defense?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:58
Both. The Ravens defense played OK at times in the first half. And they played well in the second half. Their offense just didn't help them at all.

Will Coach T talk to AB about his temper tantrum, or do they just let him go thinking "that's just AB"?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:59
I'm sure they've talked. It doesn't mean Brown will stop doing those types of things, but the coach surely addressed it.
Ryno
12:59
How much did the first three games hurt Bell's chances of getting the huge contract HE wants?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:59
It sure didn't help.

Any explanation whatsoever for the ruling on Browns "fumble" or "non-catch"?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:00
Tomlin didn't seem to have a real issue with that call. He bobbled it and the ball never hit the ground so it was an INT. I agree it's not a play you see very often, but the Steelers weren't overly upset about the call.

Will the Steelers get an apology from the NFL for the botched "fumble" call on AB?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:00
No. Again, Tomlin did not seem displeased with the explanation he received from the officials.

Do you think win against KC would really give steelers a clear path to first round bye!
Ray Fittipaldo
1:01
If that happened, yes then we could start discussing those types of things. But that's two weeks away. The Jaguars aren't the terrible teams they've been in the past.

Good win in Baltimore, but still not a 30 point offence. Shouldn't we get a better passing job with 3 Bs?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:02
Yes and maybe it's coming.

Tomlin said no explanation was needed on the Antonio Brown "interception" because he didn't maintain possession and the ball didn't hit the ground....do you agree with that assessment? Even the announcers were confused because the replay clearly showed he had possession when his hip touched the ground.
Ray Fittipaldo
1:02
I didn't see the bobble, but I've seen photos and slow motion video where you can make a case he never had control.

Hi Ray. I read somewhere that James Harrison was not playing against the Ravens due to an illness. Do you know if Harrison is feeling better?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:03
Yes I reported that Friday. He didn't play yesterday so he didn't talk afterward so I have no idea how he is feeling. He was on the field pregame so I assume he wasn't deathly ill.

What do you think of Eli Rogers not getting the nod yesterday?  I think there is more to it than muffing a punt in CHI.  JUJU looks like he is a better fit.  Are Eli's days numbered?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:04
Could be, at least for the short-term future.
Ike Steelheart
1:04
Deion Sanders and LT said yesterday that the offense is not reaching its potential because of Ben, do you agree?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:05
To a certain degree yes. Ben has said he's not playing well. There is still time to him to round into better form.
GUEST
1:05
Hi Ray, do you think AB should be throwing a hissy fit? When Ben initially looked his way he was covered by 2 guys and not looking for the ball and Ben went for the safe play to Bell. If I were AB I'd be thanking Ben for making me who I am in the NFL today.
Ray Fittipaldo
1:05
That's not the way A.B. thinks.

Did the anthem deal cause the Steelers to loose ratings?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:06
No the ratings increased over last week. So more people watched.

Good Afternoon Ray..with  a decent pick up from James Conner running the ball, was it really necessary for Bell to run 35 times or do you think its more of him working him into the offense?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:07
Just working him as they did last year. They do what they need to do to win games. Yesterday it amounted to giving Bell the ball 35 times. That's OK. They're paying him $12 million.
Ohioguy

how competitive are the Jaguars?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:07
Much more competitive than they've been in recent years. Still not consistent but they're better.

HI Ray, are you surprised J. Hargrave was in on only 29 of 69 snaps?
