Who put Dupree's motor into a hyper gear yesterday? I thought he played his best game as a Steeler (and it is about time that he did). I would appreciate your thoughts on this.  I liked seeing him in the face of Mayfield on many plays.

It'a a weakness, but they drafted James Washington for that role. I'd have to imagine he'll grow into the role at some point.

The Ravens did a great job against Conner in the first game. He had just 19 yards.

Steelers crushed the Browns (as I predicted) without their A game - I think they will beat the Ravens and win the AFC North again. How good can this team be in December? Do we have all the ingredients to be a SB team? If not, what's missing?

They've done that before. A few years ago in Cincinnati, in a game they won 42-21, they ran the same counter with DeCastro pulling about 20 times. They just kept running it over and over and over again.

Watching William Jackson III play I wonder how the Steeler brass had Burns ranked right with him. After Jackson was gone they should have gone with the next best available option.

They wanted to draft Jackson. I guess Burns was the next CB on their board. I'll have to look to see who the other CBs who were drafted after him, or other quality players at other positions. But in hindsight, you;re probably right.

Haden says Burns is a press/man-to-man guy, great at it.  Why not put him on an island more often, or am I missing something?

Because that's not their entire scheme. In their scheme, their require the CBs to play in off coverage much of the time.

Ray, for all the blame on Coach Dan for the free kick debacle, look at what happened with Green Bay with #88 ignoring his coaches instructions to take a knee on the last kick return....sometimes players get caught up and screw up....
