If they do Tevin Jones is an option. He keeps making plays in practice.

Why not release Foster and his expensive contract to gain a chance to keep Dupree?  #67 is younger and a better run blocker.

They very well might cut Foster after the season. But they won't save all that much $. He's making $4 million this year and next. They're paying Finney $3 million.

Do they see Banner as a starting RT down the road.

That's hard to say. I'd have to see him more in pass pro. Also, on that Edmunds 2-yard loss from the 1 he stood straight up and allowed penetration. If they're going to play him as much as they're playing him you can't have mistakes like that in crucial situations.

You mentioned the Steelers extending Minkah (which would be AWESOME), when do you think they would do such a thing based on their historical record of extending players.

They'd likely pick up his fifth-year option and then negotiate with him that summer, which would be 2021 I think.

Ben threw deep to Plaxico in 2004... a lot!

Right. And a lot of it was play-action such as the deep TD versus the Patriots.

Mr. Batko suggested yesterday that restocking the O line is not a high priority next year, maybe not til 2021.  He also suggested you have a different view.  May I ask what it is?

I think it would be prudent to get younger on the offensive line. Four of their starters are 29 or older and Feiler is 27 I think. Guys age. No one lasts forever. I think there are benefits to bringing in some players that can run block. Look around the league. You don't have to have a franchise QB to win. San Fran is undefeated with Jimmy Garoppolo at QB. The Colts are in playoff position with Jacoby Brissett. The Bills are winning with Josh Allen. I could go on and on. There are other ways to win than throwing the ball 55 times a game.
Ok, on that note we'll end the chat. Talk to you next week on a short week before the Browns game.
