Thomas actually caught a touchdown last week. He's not a big part of their offense right now. We don't know what's going on inside the building. Maybe he's already asked for a trade and we don't know it. Maybe they just want to move on. But you are right about one thing. The Jags likely will hold out for a decent pick. The Steelers or any other team, won't land Thomas for a late-round pick.

If we beat Cincy should we be the clear favorites to win the Division?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:14
Yes that will happen if they win in Cincy. Right now, because the Bengals have a softer schedule, they're over 50% to win the division while the Steelers are down around 25% or so. That would flip if the Steelers won.

Which upcoming opponent presents the biggest test for the Steelers offense based on what we have seen through the first 8 games?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:16
The Jaguars have a really good defense. That game is in early December. Denver is good too, but the Jaguars are near the top in points allowed and in run defense. That's going to be a showndown on MNF.

In your opinion, would the Steelers be 6-2 without Aaron Rodgers?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:16
No they would not be 6-2 without Rodgers.

Do you think Jerry's World is having any buyers remorse from his recent pittsburgh purchases
Ray Fittipaldo
11:17
Porter isn't playing bad, but giving away a second-round pick for a rental is a bad move when you don't even make the playoffs. But that division is so bad. The Cowboys could still make the playoffs.

Should we try grabbing Aiyuk for a late rounder?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:19
I'd say no because his off-field behavior was a little odd in the past year or two. Plus, he's been out of the game for how long now? More than a year. Hasn't been with a team. No one knows what kind of shape he's in. If someone signs him they'll put him on the practice squad and then see where he is. No one is signing him thinking he's going to be the piece that gets them over the top.

Ray when they run the Pierogi Push should AR leave the field and put another big body in
Ray Fittipaldo
11:19
Nah. They're probably building off that play and have a trick play they can run at some point.

How does Metcalf get his head straight?  Was he ever a top notch separator against man coverage?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:20
No he wasn't.

How do the Steelers better utilize DK's skills (if any) at this point? The fades and slants are not working?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:21
And neither are screens. They have to find ways to get him open in space and then let him run and use his physicality. Slants are perfect for that if he could catch.
Hopefully in CA

Do you think Michael Pittman will be off the IR in wk10 match up against Bengals?  If so, do you think he will finally be healthy enough to make an impact.  He had opening gam\ but nothing sense.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:22
We talked to Pittman on Monday. He just started to run last week. He hopes to return, but I don't think he's close just yet.

Dont forget Arian Foster in Houston as an UFA pickup who was amazing for them.
Ray Fittipaldo

Or James Harrison for the Steelers!

What changed with Patrick Queen?  He was being criticized for his effort but now seems to be coming along well.  What changed?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:23
He's been playing really well. He's been effective in the pass rush too. He never really brought that to the table under the previous regime. But Graham seems to know how to use him in those situations.

Last week we got to the two yardline early in the game and I yelled for them to tush push four times.  We settled for a FG.  Why are they overthinking things?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:24
I think the QB is overthinking things down there. The coach can make it easier and just call running plays with no audible options.
11:25
Ok thanks for all the great questions this week. We'll chat again next Thursday. Enjoy the games this weekend.
