Good observation. He is on the ground a lot. He's a very fast and range target, but he's not really a natural pass-catcher. Not sure if you can learn that either. Either you are or you aren't.

I didn't see a replay, but I noticed from the press box that there was a Bears defender bearing down on him and chasing him.
So maybe Ben didn't feel like he could get his usual windup.

Do you think Corrente was aware of Marsh previously playing for the Steelers when he called the taunting penalty or is it just the emphasis on taunting? I for one am all for the emphasis on taunting - just go back to the huddle and act like you have done it before!!!! What say you?

Norwood has looked pretty, pretty good in coverage and tackling but instead 35 was out there. I know it’s dime vs. nickel but gotta go with better player, right?

My assessment is Norwood has been good in zone coverage. He wasn't good in man coverage when they exposed him to that in the preseason. So when they play man I don't think they view him as a great option. Maybe they'll take a second look at him now because Maulet struggled mightily Monday night.

I think Joe has been good this year. I just think they hesitate when signing a 32-year old corner to another long-term contract. Maybe they'll sign him before he hits free agency, but I doubt it.

If Harvin didn't play such a pivotal role as Boswell's holder I'd agree with you, but he does so I don't think you'll see them make a chance anytime soon unless he's really bad. And he hasn't been really bad. He's just been inconsistent.

So, should Steeler fans take hope in the Manning-led Broncos who won a Super Bowl? Clearly his skill were not what they were, but they had a great D ... seems like that is where our hope lies. I, for one, am just enjoying this season a game at a time.

Agreed, and the Broncos really threaded the needle with the SB win. The Steelers should have beaten them at Mile High Stadium in the divisional round. Oh Fitzgerald Toussaint!
