The Bengals just tweeted out the video of TJ Houshmandzadeh polishing his shoes with the Terrible Towel.  Bungals... What do you think Butler will have in store for Burrow?

KN: Thank you as always for your chat.  Any input on the last Sunday performance of the 7th round draft pick , NT Carlos Davis , against Dallas?  I think he played at least some against Dallas.  Thank you very much.

I didn't think any of the reserve DLs held up very well to the run.

The Bengals can't stop the run, so we should be able to run the ball well. The Bengals can't protect the quarterback, so we should have a lot of sacks. Why is it that it always feels like we go into games like this with those expectations and we won't be able to run the ball against this team, and won't be able to get to the quarterback? The lack of pressure against the Cowboys last week was the biggest question mark I had from last weeks game.

That's what everyone said about the Cowboys too. It's the NFL. These guys are professional, and I definitely think there is something to Tomlin's statement about getting everyone's best shot.

Hi Ray.  This is in your response to your comment of 2:08 re: special teams and game play changes.  MT constantly states that changes cannot be made with the time available on the sidelines, and that changes need to be made at half time.  Check his comments and you will see this.

Okaaaay. I guarantee you other teams make simple adjustments on blocking assignments on the sidelines. High School teams do this.

If Watt can't go, why not put Mondeaux in the backfield as the fullback?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:37
He's an option but apparently not a very good one.

Any change they may bring in Dontari Poe to sure up the NT. Buggs is getting flattened routinely
Ray Fittipaldo

Shore up... And Alualu might play so no on Poe. Maybe for Ravens week.

Hey Ray.do you feel more comfortable with Dobbs or Rudolph running offense? I think last year we really regretted letting Dobbs go and brought him back in case a scenario such as this happened again where Ben may have to sit.Mason looked like deer in headlight Sun

With a full week of practice he'd look better. Then again, with no running game it might be a disaster. In don't care if it's Dobbs or Rudolph, if they're facing third-and8s or more they'd fail most of the time.

Any chance Boswell and/or Danny Smith's jobs are in jeopardy? Two missed extra points in one game is pathetic.
Ray Fittipaldo

Ummm, the problem is not Boswell. It's the blocking up front.

KN:  Thank you for the chat.  Did the Steelers knew before boarding the plane to Dallas that McDonald was sick? Seems like taking a big risk if he was not feeling well, even if Covid test was pending.  Thank you.
Ray Fittipaldo

They knew he was sick. He did not practice Friday and was listed on the injury report with an illness. He tested negative for COVID and was allowed to travel with the team. He was tested Sunday before the game. That test came back positive late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Ray, will we see Zach Gentry this week?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:43
Very likely yes as the No. 2 TE.
2:44
OK thanks for all the great questions this week. Time to get back to writing. See you next week after the Bengals game.
