I do think they're trying to force Ray-Ray a bit too much on offense. He had the one big run on the reverse against the Eagles, but teams are aware of him now. Can't go to the well too often. With all the attention that's being paid to the Steelers running game on the edges one would think there might be some holes in the middle of these defenses.

I've been critical of special teams and coaching for a couple of years, but this last game was a big change.  Also I enjoy your report cards.

Thanks Dave. Other than the game in Dallas I think Danny Smith has coached his units very well this year.

I did see Big Dan. On one play he completely stood up and quit on the play. I immediately knew who it was.

I believe the problems with the run game stem from the play calling. Running slow developing crossbuck type sweeps is no way to compliment Conner's abilities. He's more of a north south runner. Why not more quick hitting plays up the middle?

Maybe they don't think they have the personnel to run power up the middle. I'd like to see them try though.

He hasn't been very effective when he has pulled this year. Then again, neither has Feiler.

Hi Ray,  Has  Pouncey  declined since last season ?  Seems to have and even DeCastro has had some problems in run blocking this year but no where near the degree Pouncey has.

No one on the offensive line has blocked well in the running game this year. It's been abysmal.

To follow Kevin, seems some of Pouncey's deliveries haven't been on-the-money.

Pouncey isn't the biggest center in the league. He's sometimes giving up 30 or 40 pounds when he tries to block some of these DL. I'm not making excuses for him. I'm just pointing out he's more of a finesse player at this point in his career.
