Hello Ray. Which schedule is more favorable down the stretch? Ravens or Steelers?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:23
Steelers definitely have a more favorable schedule. They have to take advantage of it. If they do that final game in Baltimore could be for the AFC North title.

Good afternoon Ray - thanks for the chat.  If the Steelers grew weary of the hassles associated with Santonio Holmes and traded him for a fifth round draft choice (with a release allegedly coming if a trade could not have been worked out) a little more than one year after his Super Bowl winning catch, what is the likelihood of Dionate Johnson being on the Steelers roster when training camp opens next July?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:25
That might be up to Diontae and how he carries himself over the course of the rest of the season as well as what they could get in return for him in a trade. Not sure they want to be drafting two WRs in the spring. If you haven't noticed, the depth behind Johnson and Pickens isn't exactly great.

Since the Steelers utilized the middle of the field in the last game, shouldn’t it open things up more since opposing teams now know they have to defend the whole field?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:26
Yes. That's why it's so hard to figure why they didn't use it in the first 10 games.

Hello Ray, where do Harris and Warren rank as all time great RB duos in Steeler history? Franco and Rocky are number one in my opinion. Thoughts?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:27
Of course Franco and Rocky are No. 1. Bam Morris and Eric Pegram was a pretty good tandem too.

Hi Ray, with Minkah coming back is there room to keep Trenton Thompson in the game?  Im not sure if he can play CB but backing up Porter as opposed to Pierre must be an upgrade.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:28
Could come down to if Thompson is better than Pierre on special teams.

2:28
How would you rate the play of porter & Jones
Ray Fittipaldo
2:28
They're both doing very well.

I don't recall Tomlin necessarily wading into national stories like Steelers' player vs. other players like he did with TJ. Vs. Garrett. What prompted that?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:29
Tomlin didn't compare him to Garrett. He said he's the best defensive player on the planet.

Tomlin has a documented history of losing to teams they should have beaten. Is this a possible trap game for the Steelers?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:30
Every game is a trap game when you average 16 points per game.

2:31
Ray, did you have any rumbles with the Seton Lasalle rich kids during your KO youth?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:32
Only on the football field. We beat them as freshmen, pretty bad too. But they won the WPIAL Class AAA title when we were seniors. I guess recruiting helps.

Who is your winner of the Joe Greene award?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:33
I'd probably lean Porter right now.
Steel Russel
2:34
Did Chuk's get the punished for speaking out a week earlier than the rest of his teammates about Canada?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:34
The difference was Chuks was replaceable.

Ray, if Moore is injured, does Jones stay at RT or move to LT? Obviously he should go to left, but he bulldozing defenders from the right.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:34
He'd go to left, I think.

Have Leal and Loudermilk regressed, in your opinion? Seems like neither is noticeable when they're playing.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:35
They've shortened the rotation. They need to play better if they want more time.

So far indications are Omar hit it out of the park with picks 1-5, no?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:36
Sure is looking good so far.
Tprod
2:36
Ray, is this the best overall draft class in recent memory?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:36
2017 Watt, JuJu and Conner all really good picks who helped them win a lot of games. Cam Sutton too.

Is there a particular playoff matchup you're most looking forward to? I'd personally love to see Houston-KC duke it out through the air.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:38
Eagles-49ers rematch would be great.

If Marvin Harrison, Jr. comes out early, is he a top 10 pick or does he fall in a range the Steelers could move up to grab?  Would they in this scenario?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:39
Not many WRs go top 10, but Harrison certainly could.

2:39
I liked the Bus and Fast Willie as a running back combo.
Ray Fittipaldo
2:40
Another good one. And unlike Bam and Pegram they won a Super Bowl. Parker won two.

Only 16 points.  They need to go outside the organization and hire a bona fide coordinator.  Frank Reich perhaps?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:40
If he wants the job. He can sit back and count his money too.
The Double Standard IS the Standard
2:41
It's been clear for a long time that Tomlin has different expectations and punishments for different players and positions.  OL talks about quitting - benched for the season.  WR actually quits - no punishment.  Why the double standard?  Why are the idiot receivers repeatedly handled differently?
Ray Fittipaldo
2:41
The Steelers had a more than capable replacement for Chuks and no replacement for Johnson. It's really that simple.
