Hi Ray, do you think there would be a need to draft a WR in rds 3-7 since Eli Rogers tore his ACL?
Ray Fittipaldo

Yeah not a bad call. Even if Rogers was healthy it wouldn't have been a bad idea. It's not like he's the second coming of Danny Amendola or Julian Edelman.

Is it time to groom the next All-Pro center?  Pouncey has been healthy, but is getting older (8 yrs) in the league.  Could also use a road-grader guard too?

Foster is a few years older so I'd replace him first. It is strange to me though that you have an All Pro center and can't get a yard behind him. I know he's not the biggest center, but it seems to me that's where you need to run when you need a yard. DeCastro too. Yet they went outside... That whole game against the Jaguars was nightmarish with so many questionable decisions.

Do you think that there is any way that the Steelers could help improve the development of S. Davis and A. Burns.  At the end of last year, everyone was pretty impressed with them.  They both regressed badly this year.

I was higher on them at this time last year than I am now. That's not good.

If Shazier can not come back , what would be the salary cap implications? will he then still count torwards the cap?

He counts $8.5 million against the cap whether he plays or not. I don't think that's fair to the Steelers. The NFL should have some type of salary cap relief for catastrophic injuries.

There seemed to be communication issues at many points later in the season on defense. Is that on Williams, or were the calls not coming in soon enough? Or what else is up?

I'm sure it was on the players and the coaches. Whatever the case, it happened far too much.

Thanks for all the great questions this week. We'll do it again next week.
