Jason Worilds did not develop in to a reliable pass rusher until his 4th season. Should this give us hope that Dupree might still show he was worth a number one pick?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:55
Maybe, but Worilds didn't have the opportunities to play as much as Dupree has either.

Do you expect a much more disciplined team/coach in 2018?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:55
I would hope so.

I believe this is an offensive league so the Steelers need to keep as many big play offensive players as possible. Bell is a major piece to the offensive puzzle and letting him walk or trading him will be a huge mistake. Believe it or not outside Ben, Bell is the key to getting and keeping everything going offensively
Ray Fittipaldo

You might be right, but don't act like other teams don't have success without a RB making north of $12 million. The Patriots and Eagles proved that.

LB is certainly a need, however we led the league in sacks...who cares where they come from? OLB is in good shape...ILB might need some speed. Your thougts?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:57
They are in desperate need of a three-down ILB.

Do you feel Brady had any drop off making things easier for the Steelers in 2018?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:57
I didn't see any dropoff, did you? Certainly not in the fourth quarter of that game at Heinz Field Dec. 17. Or the Super Bowl for that matter when he threw for more than 500 yards without an INT.

Has the team soured on Jesse James?  He seems to improve every year or am I missing something?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:59
Pro Football Focus thinks he's one of the worst starting TEs in the league. I'm not saying PFF is always right, but Jesse is limited as a receiver and is only OK as a blocker. They brought in Vance McDonald for a reason.
Harrison

Where do you think 92 will play in 2018?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:59
I know it won't be the for the Steelers. That's for sure.

Concerning the Butler benching by Belichick,  does he come out of it as an honorable coach with high principles that must be followed,  or as an inflexible tyrant that put cracks in his locker room?
Ray Fittipaldo

All depends if he wins or loses the Super Bowl. He's a genius if they beat the Eagles, but he's criticized (and rightfully so) if they lose. That's the way it works. But even his own players have been critical of his handling of the Butler situation. That, to me, is telling.

Has Eli already has his all knee surgery?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:01
It's been a month, so I would imagine so though I don't think the team acknowledged it.

Do you want to slap a franchise tag on someone who really doesn't want one?  I see trouble if they do.  Harrison was able to get himself out of Pittsburgh, so why wouldn't Bell take the same approach?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:02
Well, Bell would have $14.5 million reasons to be a good citizen. Harrison was playing for about $2 million last year. It's not chump change, but he already made the majority of the money he was going to make in the NFL. It's a little bit different with Bell.

Thoughts on Bradley and Dunbar hires?
Ray Fittipaldo

I like them both. New voices might have been needed.

Hi Ray. Any chance Fitz wants to come back to Pittsburgh at a discount? He’d look great in the slot
Ray Fittipaldo

They have one of the best slot WRs in the NFL in JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Early prediction for the 2018 SB favorite?
Ray Fittipaldo
1:05
OK this is way, way early, but my Super Bowl 53 prediction is San Diego vs. New Orleans. And this is subject to change!
That's all the time we have for this week. We'll do it again next week.
