The Steelers want to keep him long term. But you have to understand he is not obligated to report tomorrow. He has not signed his franchise tender. He is not under contract and therefore can't be fined for failing to show up.

What does Big Dan need to do to make the roster? I hear he's a teddy bear on the field - how do they make him mad enough to play like he's physically made to play?

I think Big Dan and Johnny Maxey will battle it out for the sixth DL spot. Nothing is assured for him as he enters Year 4.

How does our new Long Snapper worthy of a draft pick look in OTA's?
Ray Fittipaldo

I haven't noticed any bad snaps. I think he'll be fine.

Do you think the Steelers will blitz more this year against the likes of Brady as opposed to sitting back and letting him pick us apart. This to me a coaching mistake. I'd rather die swinging than give up 10 or 15 yards a clip

You'd rather get pressure with four than blitz, but I agree taking chances against Brady seems like a better alternative than his annual dissections of the Steelers defense.

* Bell: Five years, $50 million ($8 million in the first year to lessen the cap hit by $4 million)

* Tuitt: Four years, $44 million ($8 million in the first year with the signing bonus spread out over time)

* Villanueva: Four years, $32 million ($7 million in first year)

I think that's a little high for Tuitt. That would be more than they pay Heyward, and I'm not sure that happens. I understand Heyward signed his deal in 2015, but I'd still be a bit surprised if Tuitt got $11 million per season. I said $10 million a year for Bell is about right.

Do you think Haley has entertained the idea of using AB in the slot? And putting Bryant and JuJu on the outside? Bringing in Rogers for 4 WR sets?

I don't think they'll mess much with the formula that has had Brown account for an average of 110 catches a year for the past four years.

I know they've had their moments against Pittsburgh in the past, but that was when they had more weapons. So discounting the Red Rifle in Cinci and Flacco, looks like Stafford (week 8) will be the first really dangerous QB on schedule. Thoughts?

Andrew Luck too.
Thanks for all the questions this week. We'll do it again next week at the same time.
