we don't tend to repeat academic taster sessions, but we do ask academics for copies of materials and upload them to the student portal if they're happy for us to do this, but this isn't always guaranteed

due to the next events falling in ramadan, like next weeks freshers events are optional suited to which ones we would like to do will it be the same next holidays

nothing is compulsory on RfE - you attend what you would like to :) - Easter ran in Ramadan last year also and we had many students who came to events and were supported to access prayer facilities and chill out spaces rather than go to the refectory for lunch

Hello, we offer events that can help with gaining work experience. Our Careerability event has mock interviews which would give you tips on how to gain a placement.

even though you dont offer speech and language at university level would you guys have sessions for those who still may want to take it like information sessions etc.

yes, often our event names don't fully replicate the session content and we really encourage students to read the descriptions. For example, next week we have a careers in healthcare content as part of the Medicine day (so not just Medicine) - we list the relevant courses at the bottom of each event description on the programme to help

if you were put on the reserve list for a session, if a space comes around, wouldn't the turnover be very quick? How likely is it that i'd even get a spot, because the one im on reserve for is the one that i really wanted to attend :( ?

Hi Ciara, as soon as we receive a cancellation we will be working through our reserve list and getting in touch with the first person on the list to replace that booking. We will carry on doing this for every cancellation we receive. Sorry you didn't secure a place this time round, but they'll be lots more Dentistry sessions coming in the future :)

No, some courses don't stipulate a particular grade for entry though but if they do you would need that grade. We will discus this more at Get Set For Uni Part One

you can attend them all if you wanted to - over 80! (actually you couldn't as you would need to split yourself into 4 as we have days next week where 4 things are on at the same time! ha)
