What Free Agent target should be our offseason focus? I feel like a true CF'er should be one of our focuses in addition to Middle Relief.
Anthony Franco
5:50
Yeah they need at least one outfielder, preferably two, and a couple starting pitchers. Would like to see a defense-oriented complement to Díaz at least
Nimmo or Contreras make sense if Monfort's willing to push spending to where he never has
5:51
If not, then guys like Conforto/Gallo, Kiermaier, Mike Zunino, or Syndergaard feel like decent fits to me
Don Draper
5:51
Is Garrett Hampson ever going to break out? Seems like he has potential, but his numbers are getting worse every year
Anthony Franco
5:52
I think that ship has sailed. He's fast but doesn't have much power and isn't a Madrigal or David Fletcher type contact hitter that'd allow him to compensate for it
Drew
5:53
Will the Rockies be open to trading Daniel Bard, despite his new extension? If so, where are some landing spots?
Anthony Franco
5:53
No I think the extension forecloses a trade happening any time soon
Sam Hilliard
5:53
Am I destined for AAAA stardom?
Anthony Franco
5:54
Seems like it. I really liked Hilliard coming up but there's just too much swing-and-miss. Wonder if he's a guy a team in an Asian pro league will inquire about

Veen seems like he is close to being ready but GM says they are looking to sign a CF. Are they looking for a short-term replacement or someone who can help them in the long run?
Anthony Franco
5:55
Veen's a corner guy anyways, so they don't really have to worry about that. Nimmo's the only guy available this offseason who's really a long-run CF and he's going to be expensive

Are the Rockies the NL team furthest away from the World Series, or would you give that honor to the Nationals? It seemed like a year ago they were talking about building their team around McMahon and Tapia... Seems like other "bad" teams have more young / very talented players.
Anthony Franco
5:56
Yeah I think it's probably the Nats. Washington has a clearer target date for when they expect to be good again and maybe a higher organizational ceiling as a result, but Colorado's current big league roster is better and I could see the argument for preferring either farm system

Where can we see Connor Joe on the field next year? Is CJ Cron going to be traded? Is Hampson going to be released?
Anthony Franco
5:58
Joe really tailed off in the second half. Think he's a bench player and could find himself on the roster bubble if they add two outfielders
Bo
5:59
What relievers should we target this off-season?
Anthony Franco
6:00
I like Estévez a lot and would at least see what it takes to bring him back, but I could see someone going three years there. That'd probably be a tough sell for Colorado
6:02
As far as guys from outside the org, an injury rehabber with swing-and-miss stuff like Luke Jackson or Dominic Leone is interesting. Chris Martin is consistently very good. Bringing Tommy Kahnle back would be pretty fun
Alright that's all I have time for tonight
