Asking the first panelist, Margarita Simonyan about the future of internet news, she replies, "People are going to use more and more of internet news because they want somebody else's agenda to be more prevalent than what they think."

Moving on to the next panelist - Liu Ge - the moderator asks her "What does Chinese research tell about the changing of audience?"

Liu Ge remarks, "We are afraid of digital media now, we are under lot of pressure due to it. According to our research in China, the young generation watches very less TV news and more of digital media."

The moderator asks the Indian panelist, Arnab Goswami, that "how is the audience in India?"

In a powerful reply, Goswami goes on and says "The hegemony of western media has to end. The western media had it too good for too long and it has ruined the power of balance."

He added, "I want to share some data with you all. The most interested audience in watching news is Indians and the least interested are Americans and British, but still 74% British and Americans contribute to the source of news - if I have to summarize it in one sentence then the British and Americans have more dominance on the world media."

He adds to this and says, "India will go on and become the media capital of the world. I would like to explain why I said so, we have 99,000 publications in India, we have 13,761 registered newspapers in India, we have 404 news channels in India which run 24*7."

Talking about the Americans, Goswami goes on and says, "Americans doesn't have any historical memories. The fact of the matter is to restore the balance by creating a global media environment that is not located out of New York, Washington and when you create that environment you will have balance."

Defending the American media, Anna says that, "BBC broadcasts in 13 different languages so they cannot be hegemonous, because we are so multi-dimensional and multi-national."
