Worry about Cutch being on the outs in terms of MIL PT. With McMahon at home and Kwan doing well, I'd lean those two for this week.

Hi Brent.  Emmanuel Rivera has been hitting really well since joining the Diamondbacks, but he isn't playing every day and there's a bit of a playing-time crunch in Arizona these days.  Would you roster Rivera in a 5X5 H2H league with OBP instead of AVG over any of Josh Rojas, Jon Berti, or Alec Bohm?  Berti (sore hip) seems droppable at the moment, but if he returns to full health later this month he could easily go on a stolen base tear that would make me regret dropping him, especially for a part-time player.

Prefer both Rojas and Bohm for sure; you've sized up the Berti v Rivera issues. Might go healthy Rivera (how likely is Berti to rack up SB later w/ a hip issue?), though he's def getting the squeeze in ARI a bit via the Carroll and OF glut there for sure.

Hey Brent thanks for the chats! With my team struggling, it's motivating to keep playing with your help. Please rank, need to bench one this week: Odorizzi, Falter, Roansy, Trevor Rogers
Brent Hershey
12:55
I'd bench Odorizzi; fuzzy if he even starts this week, and then cross your fingers w/ Rogers @ PHI.

Thoughts on M. Toglia for this week's homestand in CO? 12 team 5x5 in need of r, rbi, & hr.
Brent Hershey
12:56
All depends on who the drop is ... but on the surface several things in favor of playing Toglia this week.

10 tm H2H made playoffs. This wk and next best all around add: McCarthy, H Ramirez, B Thompson? Thanks
Brent Hershey
12:58
1) McCarthy (easily; most well-rounded fantasy wise); 2) really depends on the rest of your team construction and format. Likely: Ramirez - BA, not much power // Thompson - SB, not much power and shaky BA. Short samples; anything can happen!

How would you expect the Cubs to divide up save opportunities going forward?  Hughes has been homer-prone, especially lately, but most of his other indicators look better than Wick's.  70/30 Hughes/Wick ROS?
Brent Hershey
12:59
Closer to 60/40 or 55/45 in Hughes' favor for me.

Hello. I haven't been able to find any information on Buxton coming off the IL this week and I have Refsnyder and Engel starting right now on my AL team, as there just isn't anyone available in this league who's worth picking up. Any word on Buxton? Thank you.
Brent Hershey

No insider info here. I need to see Buxton in a lineup first, I think, before I'm activating him.

Brent: Need a couple of hot bats for first playoff round. How would you rate Huira and Jace Peterson at Col., and Friedl at Chicago (I think)? R/L matchups seem to be OK for all three.
Brent Hershey
1:01
Hiura (easy #1, could be setting himself up for good Sept), then Friedl over Peterson -- mainly due to likely more PT.
Brent Hershey

Wow, you all have kept me busy ... Final lightning round!

Need some strategy advice: playing in a league that has both Saves and Holds as categories. My opponent in the first playoff round has a big edge in Saves. I'm thinking of dropping Hernandez (TX) and picking up Alvarado (Phil) to give me a slight edge in Holds? Your advice is much appreciated.
Brent Hershey

Makes sense, yes.

Are either A.J. Minter or Joe Mantiply likely to get more than a handful of Saves in 2023?
Brent Hershey
1:02
I lean no
Porcho Villa
1:03
Arraez worth sticking with as a bench bat (5x5 OBP)? Considering replacing him with J. Rojas given better all around production, similar positional versatility and modest OB dropoff.
Brent Hershey
1:03
I'd stick w/ Arraez; though it's close.

H2H points league - with some crazy options. 2B - Brendan Rogers or McMahon; SS - Adames or Rogers; 3B - Bohm or McMahon

McMahon / Rogers / Bohm
