Shawn, the numbers are posted on the screen and on the judges handheld devices. Physically wearing numbers would not work on video because especially in the Latin and rhythm if the leader is facing the camera judges would not see the numbers.

Thanks, yes I understand, it appears to me though this type of competing is very different then true live experience. I think maybe some exploration by the ruling bodies on how to make this type of competing more even would be in order. It would appear to me that those who make practice in front of video cameras may have an unfair advantage over those who do not. There is art and skill in that, which is very different than dancing in front of a large group. Just saying, something to consider.
