It has been one eventful day in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, with surprises, twists, comments and reactions aplenty.

The counting is still going on but the results are pretty clear for everyone to see. The present trends indicate a windfall victory for BJP in Gujarat. The Congress struggled and lost a massive vote share, with new entrant AAP being the major beneficiary.

Himachal went entirely opposite to the predictions. Congress sprung a surprise by winning almost 40 seats in the state, while BJP fell around 10 seats short. As of now, AAP has struggled to open its account.

There's still a lot more to come. Congress will try its best to prevent the repeat of Operation Lotus while trying to figure out a Chief Minister's face.

BJP will celebrate the record win in their fortress and might see the Himachal defeat as a wake-up call.
