Happy Sunday Paul. Despite his record, I’ve never been a big Tomlin fan. His game management skills are poor and he has, IMHO, underperformed with the talent on his teams. Why in the world would you risk injury (which is exactly what happened) by throwing a 10yd sideline pass from around your own 35 yd line with 20 seconds left in the game, no timeouts and down by  2 scores. I simply don’t get it. Maybe the eloquence with which speaks would serve him better as a political speech writer. I for one am ready to move on.

You are not the only one out there who feels that way. I like Tomlin and what he does and he he goes about his business

Any blame for Johnson’s needless injury?

That is on the coaching staff. Take a knee the game was over

Best news if the day so far - no Ian Eagle and Charles Davis. Granted Kevin Harlan and Trent Green are not the top of the line, not many worse than Ian and Charles.

Tomlin got a near pass by media for his bevy of sideline gaffes last week so I ask now... Controling the things you can control would include: When to go for 2pt. conv. ... Clock Mngmt. i.e. NOT kicking short down by 6 w 1 TO & 3:43 left... Not playing your #1 WR on meaningless play with :20 left down by 9 so he can get his Fantasy 100yrds i.e. $$$$ Agree?
The fighting spirit to the end as Batko sited is one thing... No one wants the bad optics of taking a knee in a loss but playing the #1 WR D. Johnson on that meaningless play so... someone(s) could get their 100yrd. Fantasy points is a outrageous precident & conflict of interest, no? Then again they were playing... Las Vegas.
Is the glaring lack of under Center/ over the middle passes due in part to the batted down passes that have frustrated Ben & the O the past 10+ years?

I see that only Ben and Mason are active for the game. Must mean they are pretty sure Ben is solid.

I’m worried about this defense!  I wonder if we’ll see any D looks with Bush, Schobert, and Spillane on the field together to avoid having to rely on Jamir Jones and Derrek Tuszka.

Remember in "Renegade" to make any sense at all... The Steeler 'D' is "The Long Arm of the Law"... Not the title character... a condemed man crying for his mommy!

Ben plays opening drives as though the game hasn’t actually started and he gets a mulligan
Mark

Does the offense have a 6-10 yard pattern. Going long on first 3rd and 5 reeks of Groundhog Day🤬
Zeise

There is a holding call there

Ian

Pathetic. 5 guys couldn’t bring him down.
Zeise

There was a holding call there and should have been. That was a big third down play for the Bengals because they got some field position out of it
