If these last 2 games crash and burn, which could very well happen, what significant changes can you anticipate?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:03
I would have to see how tonight's game and the playoff game looked before I gave a complete answer. As of right now, I don't think there would be major changes. Teryl Austin just signed a new contract and has at least one more year left. And of course Arthur Smith is new. Maybe an assistant or two would go, but I doubt anything major.

Good afternoon Ray and Brian. Baltimore is clearly out playing Cleveland, but letting them hang around.
Ray Fittipaldo

I agree, but the the major story is Zay Flowers. That injury did not look good. Those non-contact knee injuries never seem to turn out well.
Savio304
6:07
agreed Hillbilly.  if not for pick 6, it would be only 7-3
Ray Fittipaldo
6:08
Only one injury to watch when they release the inactive list in abut 20 minutes. Donte Jackson was listed as questionable with his back injury. Everyone else has a clean bill of health for this game.

Feeling good about tonight Ray?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:09
The offense has to play better than it has in recent weeks because I don't think you're going to keep the Bengals offense in check all game. I think they find a way to win, but I'm expecting a close one.

Minkah playing Centerfield tonight or does he play close to the LOS?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:15
With Elliott back in the lineup, he'll be back in centerfield for the most part.
Hillbilly
6:15
It will be nice to have JPJ back. A lot of people here dog on him for being handsy, and maybe rightfully so. I would rather have the occasional penalty than somebody getting beat deep for touchdowns, however.  The Artie burns comparisons are hilarious and completely incorrect.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:16
For the defense's sake, hopefully he doesn't get flagged six times tonight!
But I agree. He's your No. 1 CB. He has played as well as he did earlier in the season, but he's the best they got.

Just give us a competitive game and start it with intensity to set the tone whoever is out there first

Thoughts on the vibe at Acrisure tonight? Playoff like? Quick to boo a slow start? Looking like the last game at home this year.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:22
Fans just starting to trickle in now. Given what's transpired in the past three games I don't expect they'll be very forgiving if things get off to a bad start.
Ian

Let the boo birds roost if deserved
Hillbilly

21-3 ratbirds
Ray Fittipaldo
6:28
Doesn't look good for a home playoff game.
I don't know if this is true, but someone in the press box said the 20-point spread was the highest in 50 years in the NFL. That's crazy, if true.
Ian
6:28
Ugh
Hillbilly
6:28
No sir. It does not.
Brian Batko
6:29
Hey everyone, inactives should be out in just under 10 minutes because kickoff is at 8:07 sharp.
Ian
6:29
Well can we really expect the browns to do something right?
Brian Batko
6:30
But I do not expect Donte Jackson (back) to play as he came in questionable. Look for Cory Trice Jr. to start at cornerback opposite Joey Porter Jr., who's back after his knee injury cost him the Chiefs game.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:30
Nope, but how's this for a stat: the Steelers lost to all three Browns QBs in this game in the past 13 months -- Winston, Zappe and DTR. Yikes.
Hillbilly
6:31
Losing to Zappe is an embarrassment. He is all over the place today. most inaccurate quarterback play. I’ve seen in a long time.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:31
They both stink
Hillbilly
6:32
Agreed

if Steelers flame out next week in the playoffs, does Tomlin's seat get any heat?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:33
I doubt it
Ian
6:33
Playing down to qbs is a Steelers specialty
Brad
6:33
With the Pigeons cruising but players getting injured, should Tomlin think about limiting some players? I say should because I suspect he won't.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:34
I'm guessing they'd rather play the Texans than the Ravens, but Tomlin told us he doubts he'll rest anyone when he held his news conference earlier in the week.
Brian Batko
6:35
Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt, right tackle Amarius Mims and wide receiver Tee Higgins are all active after being questionable to end the week. Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is playing on a broken fibula, per what he told reporters after the Broncos game. No. 1 running back Chase Brown is out. This is not a healthy team.

I love your post game report cards!  Question: do you get any comments from the players or coaches you grade?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:36
No
Brian Batko
6:36
Inactives are officially out and it's Kyle Allen (QB3), Donte Jackson, Scotty Miller, Isaiahh Loudermilk and Dean Lowry. Steelers going heavy at DB, not so much on the DL. Think they expect the Bengals to pass a little bit? Look for plenty of dime defense with Beanie Bishop and Cam Sutton both inside.

I'm excited for this game, I think that this is a game where the Steeler's offense can get on track against a terrible defense. Win, and they will probably beat Houston, their offense is in shambles! I think this is a game where Pickens has a monster game, and the defense does enough to limit Bengal scores

Hi Paul.  I don't have a good feel for this game.  Don't have a winner in mind.  :(
