It seems as though Justin Fields is healthy. Do you think that we willwe see packages for him today?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:38
Depends on how the game is going, maybe for a few snaps.

What is Holcomb’s situation currently?  Does he still need to be activated before he can even be considered for the active roster?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:39
He remains on IR. They started his 21-day window so he can come off IR and onto the 53-man roster at any time, but I don't think they'll activate him unless there is an injury to another ILB.

Assuming the Ravens win, if the Steelers lose can they drop to 6th seed or are they locked into the 5 slot?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:43
They can drop to 6 if Chargers beat Raiders tomorrow.
AdamNY
6:43
Same question but for Fautanu - at this stage of his progress, could he be activated and do you think he will be?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:43
Doesn't seem like it. His window has not been opened.

Ray & Brian, thanks for the chats!!!  Ray, one time I would like to see you give a grade to the owner in your report card.  He’s the one who puts up with all this mediocrity year after year.  Last game of the season maybe???
Ray Fittipaldo
6:45
I had suggestions earlier in the season to grade the officials. Ha ha.

6:45
I just don't understand how a coach who has only won a playoff game in 4 of his previous 17 seasons can not be on the hot seat.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:46
He just signed a contract extension. It wouldn't be like the Steelers to make a move like that six months after signing him to another deal.
Hillbilly
6:46
You would get tired of handing out Fs to the officials Ray. Lol.
David
6:46
Is it overly optimistic to think the Steelers will come out like gangbusters tonight since everyone has had 10 days to write their season off?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:47
How about a touchdown on their first drive? I can't remember the last time that happened.
Hillbilly
6:47
By the way, I do not believe that the officials are partial. I believe that they are incompetent.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:48
I just ended the poll. 20 votes for the Texans and one each for the Chargers and Ravens.
Shallow Hal

Is the dreadful Bengals Defense in better shape from a health standpoint than last time, or worse?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:49
They actually haven't been terrible since that game in Cincinnati. But they are a bit banged up on offense. Chase Brown, their No. 1 RB, is out.
Savio304
6:49
if Browns let Jameis play tonight (his "injury" is such a lie), Browns could actually be having a chance right now.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:49
Or he could have thrown three pick 6s.

Is coach T going to go to college football like Bill Billacheck?
Ray Fittipaldo
6:50
"Never say never, but never."
Savio304
6:50
Agreed Ray, but they have zero chance now.
Ray Fittipaldo
6:50
I know. They want a high pick. They were never trying to win this game.
Weegie Thompson
6:51
lets all just be honest…it was clear, right or wrong, that there was 1, maybe 2, players that guys thought were a major part of the miscommunication.  Who were they?  Specific names please
Ray Fittipaldo
6:52
It's not that easy. You can watch the replays and think you know, but communication, or a lack thereof, plays a big role in those blown coverages. I'm not absolving anyone of blame, but players can look bad if they never get the call.
Savio304
6:52
Jameis cam bring u back from a pick 6 or two, but this game was over after Zappe's one pick 6
Ian
6:52
can’t blame them. High pick and stick it to the Steelers
Ray Fittipaldo
6:53
I'm surprised Lamar Jackson is still playing.
Brian Batko
6:54
Maybe he has some record to get, Ray

FWIW and the Ravens being favored by 20 as the largest NFL point spread in 50 years, 1976 Steelers were favored by 27 (and covered by winning 42-0)
Ray Fittipaldo

Over who?
Buccaneers?
They were an expansion team

Doesn’t make sense for Jackson or Henry to be playing at this moment Ray I agree

There seem to be quite a few hostages on the team?
Connecting…

I'm excited for this game, I think that this is a game where the Steeler's offense can get on track against a terrible defense. Win, and they will probably beat Houston, their offense is in shambles! I think this is a game where Pickens has a monster game, and the defense does enough to limit Bengal scores

Hi Paul.  I don't have a good feel for this game.  Don't have a winner in mind.  :(
