I have a completely unrealistic theory/fantasy...  To surprise playoff opponents, we have been holding back our true offense—the passing game runs through Claypool (not Eric freaking Ebron), and we have a power running game that asks our oline to double team and our RBs to run straight forward behind D Watt.  Oh, and there are read option packages for Dobbs.  Just you wait Steeler Nation.  Hehe...

Regarding James Pierre being in the game—didn’t Tomlin say that he was going to try to substitute as much as possible so that even the guys playing wouldn’t have to play as much as they normally would.  Given that they didn’t punt when they could have on that last drive, I think Tomlin is still playing to win but also trying not to exert anyone too much.
