That's a good question. Who's your pick to lead the Steelers in receiving yards today? I'll go with Kenny Gainwell, but MVS has the most among WRs.

Is Gainwell happy with the team his role in  Pittsburgh? i.e. Should we worry about him going elsewhere in 2026?
Ray Fittipaldo

Steelers have a big negotiating window. Pretty much from the end of their season until the middle of March. I know Gainwell loves playing with Rodgers so if the Steelers get an early answer from him they might have Gainwell in tow well before the middle of March.

I'd say he's quite happy with his role, but money talks. You factor in usage and comfort to an extent, but if there's a team that wants to pay him handsomely compared to the Steelers, he'll go where the payday is.

Maybe Roman Wilson can make some plays and get out of Tomlin/Rogers doghouse lease.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:58
He is active. We'll see how much he plays. I'm not convinced it will be a lot.

Based on our history in Cleveland you know we'll be up 3 or down 3 in the middle of the 4th quarter.  The Steelers never make it easy

Would you rather have an elite defense and a so-so (but competent) offense or vice versa?  I go with the elite defense.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:02
Depends on the opponent, but in 2025 I'd say elite offense.

Load up left side and run at Garrett today . Best way to stop the pass rush ????
Ray Fittipaldo
12:08
Staying in manageable downs and distances is the answer to limiting Garrett and the Browns pass rush. And running the ball well would be a big part of that.
12:10
The stadium only has a few thousand fans in their seats now, but a good number are wearing black and gold and waving their Terrible Towels.

No matter what MIGHT happen today…i think Rodgers is the reason the Steelers ship is guided from a Browns Iceberg.

I feel like this is a must win... don't like our chances next week  with the way the Ravens ran the ball last night.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:16
Never want it to come down to one game. Take care of business today against a 3-win team.
OneAndDone
12:17
looks like it could be a very windy/rainy day.  That's going to make kicking a challenge.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:17
For sure.

12:17
If they can't beat a 3 win Cleveland team, then I kinda feel like they don't deserve to win the division.
David

If the season is truly going to be different, the Steelers will win this one comfortably today and make a statement. If they lose we are right back to doom and gloom, they probably lose next week, miss the playoffs and we're back to fire everyone and blow it up. I don't think Rodgers lets any of that happen and that's the difference this year.

Hi. Thanks for hosting this chat. Would you take the Over or Under on “Number of Lengthy Referee Explanations during the game” if the O/U is 0.5 ?  ; )

OVER!

I can't remember a game in Cleveland, late in the season, with so much riding on it. Injuries, suspension, sack record, Shadeur, et al. flavouring a Division clinching matchup with big bad bully Derrick Henry doing his best Clubber Lang montage impersonation in the background. I hope our vets lead the charge and keep our HC out of the equation.  What's the shared level of confidence fellas? HERE WE GO!
Ray Fittipaldo
12:19
My confidence meter (out of 10) is probably 6.5
Franco3272
12:24
I agree with your confidence meter and the wildcard is we have a Hall of Fame Qb who hates to lose.
12:25
Rodgers will do whatever ir takes to win and the defense will step up

Hate to be that guy…but this has let down written all over it.  A lot if
David
12:26
I've appreciated the aggressiveness lately, going on 4th down etc., but would you agree today is a day to revert to "Steelers Football" and kick FGs when opportunities are there, punt and play defense and expect your defense to force Sanders into mistakes? In short, be a little more conservative and let the Browns be the Browns?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:27
I know what you mean, but they're playing well in that posture so I'd be careful to change too much if I was Mike Tomlin.

If they can’t beat Cleveland they don’t deserve to win the division.  FULL STOP
Franco3272
12:30
They need to take a page out of Belichick's book and jump on this team early and get out to a two score lead and make Sanders beat them
Greenwood
12:31
Whether it's an RB or someone else, I'd always have a blocker beside Rodgers. Obviously have to have someone chip Garrett at the line, but beyond that protecting Rodgers is key.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:31
And Rodgers making good decisions when the pressure does come.
TSF
12:31
Ray - what do you expect the offensive game plan to be? Try to run the ball and use play action? Even more use of the tight ends than usual?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:32
They had a pretty good plan early in the season when they beat them. I'd imagine it will be similar.
Franco3272
12:32
I agree with TSF. Play like a playoff team today and try to make a run once you're in the dance.
12:44
This is the why Rodgers is here for games like this. Take us to the playoffs and give us next week to rest.
TSF
12:44
I don’t think the Steelers have won in Cleveland since #7 retired have they?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:44
They have not
He We Go
12:44
I have a bad feeling - hope it’s just indigestion from all the unhealthy eating and drinking from this week. Although this is your Pittsburgh Steelers. Wouldn’t be surprised if they win out, wouldn’t be surprised if they lose out. Everything is on the table with this bunch.

Sanders is a sack machine, lay the 3 points all day long!  And be happy Harbaugh was too dumb to use Henry 4th quarter against the Pats.
