Thanks CH!

I'm thinking with Allar and Howard, the steelers don't need to draft a QB in 2027. Use draft capital, move up and draft a top CB. Now the have as good as player as Joey for 4 years at rookie contract. Get a guy like Gonzalez

Great user name!

What’s the split of fans in Cleveland tonight? 75–25 or 90–10?
Christopher Carter
8:10
Not there, so tough to tell! But I imagine it'll be heavy Browns with this being for first place in the AFC North.
Biff
8:10
Nope. Anytime you deal away a young starting cornerback who hasn't allowed a single touchdown in three years as a starter and you only get a second round pick two years down the line, you got fleeced.
Christopher Carter
8:10
Agreed!

Prediction 24–10 Steelers. Close for a half, and then the Steelers impose their will. Hopefully they use Washington and Freiermuth a lot tonight!
Christopher Carter
8:10
I think that would certainly help!

Hey Chris, Buddy Dial was a wide receiver for the Steelers in the 60s.  People loved him. I remember him well.
Christopher Carter
8:11
Yep! I've read about him!

Let’s goooooo!!!!!!
Ken

Analytics have the Steelers as a 55% chance of winning this game even with the past experience at Cleveland and away on Thursdays.

I want to see game 1 TJ…. He,Alex & Herbig need to pressure Watson heavily.
Lou
8:13
If Watson is under a good degree of pressure I think he makes some big mistakes. If the Steeler OL is what we saw last week and not week 1-2 then all is gonna be good!
Christopher Carter
8:14
To me, that's the biggest key for the defense. Get him under pressure and he'll make huge mistakes.
8:16
Kickoff! Browns receive and get the ball to the 30, but there's a flag.
8:17
Browns tagged for holding. They're the second-highest penalized team in the NFL, and it's already starting.
8:19
Asante Samuel makes a decent tackle in space then Patrick Queen's run stuff leads to 3rd and 3.

#Steelers go press man across the board, and Jalen Ramsey makes a great tackle on Isaiah Bond for a yard.

3-and-out to start.

With all the QB injuries across the league, would the Steelers listen if someone called on Rudolph?
Christopher Carter
8:19
I think they'd get an interesting return!

if 8 stays upright, Steelers win

How many games with zero herbig sacks until we get restless?
Christopher Carter
8:19
Good question. Steelers fans are restless!
Hillbilly

Imagine that. Holding call on a kick return
8:20
Fantastic tackle! Three and aht!!
Ken
8:20
3 and out.  Great start to the game.
Ken

Can you believe that punt!  Wow, haven't seen that since Bobby Walden days.

Jaylen Warren opens the #Steelers' first possesion with a 4-yard gain off the left tackle.

2nd and 6. Warren picks up a blitz, Aaron Rodgers goes deep to DK Metcalf, but Denzel Ward blankets him and it's incomplete.
8:22
The #Steelers' first 3rd down goes from 3rd and 6 to 3rd and 11 with a Brock Hoffman false start.

WR screen to DK Metcalf springs for a 15-yard gain to move the chains. Good blocking out in space by Max Iheanachor and Brock Hoffman.

Roll with Warren

Chris, Lets not forget that JPJ has had the most penalties of any corner in the last three years. Also, I'm a pro-labor, union guy, but you gotta honor your contract man. This “back” issue just made him look like a weasel.
Christopher Carter
8:23
The DPOY Pat Surtain II had more penalties than him last year, and the first team all-pro CB last year Derek Stingley Jr. had just as many penalties. The penalty narrative is so overblown.
Hillbilly

Keep running, DK! Show some effort!
Ken
8:23
Nothing seems to work with DK.
JDT
8:23
Just not getting very close going long for DK
George Thorogood
8:24
Did Metcalf simply lack the speed to turn and run after that pass?
Ken
8:24
Browns fan noise may be a factor tonight.  They are loud.

2 catches for DK!  Woohoo!
