HALFTIME: Steelers 17, Colts 13.

What have you all liked/not liked so far?
I'm working on my halftime notes.

Like the overall team play. Don’t like soft zone and the negative Nancy’s on here. 😎
Sean

Why not just take a knee there
Paul Z
2:35
Rodgers under pressure , he scrambled out of the pocket and did OK in my opinion
Hillbilly
2:35
Liked Rodgers is sharp. TE and Warren involved. Dislike defense looks soft at times. No pass rush. Too many drops.
PistolK

So the Colts defense ranks 30th out of 32 teams.

HALFTIME: #Steelers 17, Colts 13.

As always, some @PittsburghPG notes:

👍Steelers back to physical style of offense. Lots of runs/short passes that key on their physicality with blocking downfield. DK Metcalf blocked 2-3 guys on Jaylen Warren's TD, Germie Bernard blocked of DK Metcalf' 10-yard gain. 1 explosive TD, a methodical TD drive and a decent 2-minute FG drive came out of it.
👍Aaron Rodgers has been on point. 16/21 for 166 yards, 2 TDs and has a couple of drops in there. He's done well and seen through the Colts' defense so far.
👍Run defense is alive and present. Jonathan Taylor has just 13 yards on 8 carries. That's a shutdown. Patrick Queen, Payton Wilson, Yahya Black, Sebastian Joseph-Day all in on it.
👎Too many explosive pass plays allowed. Receptions of 42, 24, and 22 yards have kept the Colts in it. There was also a missed wide open TD Daniel Jones overshot. Need to clean that up.
2:36
👎Despite the scoring on offense, miscues have been the main thing in the way. Brock Hoffman's hold held up a drive, Germie Bernard and Roman Wilson with drops.
👎Special teams coverage has been bad. A 54-yard kick return set up the Colts' second field goal right after the Jaylen Warren TD.

Intentional eye poke? Dirty

Going to grab some lunch. Hit me with your thoughts.

Thank GOD for Pitt women's volleyball and Central Catholic football teams. EVERY other sports teams are irrelevant
Christopher Carter
2:39
Jaylen Warren has an 80-yard TD reception.

After that: 4 runs for 13 yards and a 4 more receptions that combine for just one additional yard.

Looks like the Colts dedicated a lot to stop him after the score. Might open up other people. #Steelers

It be great if the Steelers could build up some momentum, and then play well offensively against better defenses
Pirate Pete
2:40
They didn’t devote too much to Warren else someone else would be open.
Christopher Carter
2:45
OK back here.
David Chestnut
2:45
PistolK - why are you in a chat dedicated to an irrelevant team then?
Greenfield Gorillas
2:45
Browns rematch, it be great to rematch them at home and being 4-2 IF they can beat Indy and Tampa Bay .

Washington injured? Didn’t see him in the last drives
Greenfield Gorillas
2:45
Yea I would like to see more Warren on the ground , fifty more yards rushing

My thoughts are this is an average team. Defense is overpaid and overrated and they don’t have a my starting cornerbacks. Offense is average. 9-8 or 10-7 with a first round loss if they get in
Christopher Carter
2:45
Roman Wilson is out with a hand injury.

Ben Skowronek has a calf injury and is out as well.

#Steelers WR room takes some big hits.

I’m sure Pittman is sorry he couldn’t play against his former team. Need the Young Hands to not drop the ball.
David Chestnut
2:46
geez our kick coverage is poor!
Ken
2:46
Special teams are really hurting us today.
Greenfield Gorillas
2:46
Aaron Rodgers is out dueling Daniel Jones, and he out duked Joe Burrow. They said that the Steelers are averaging 300 yards per game and three touchdowns, even in the losses
NC Steel
2:46
Maybe, or perhaps the other WRS still having problems getting open! Also, Washington should be thrown to more this half--at least 5 or 6 more targets.
Ken
2:46
Come on Defense!  We need a turnover or a sack!  You haven't done either today!
KP
2:46
Kick coverage needs to be better.

Here comes the Colts again for another score.

Ask anyone who knows me, and they will all say that I am a huge Steeler (as well as Pirate and Pens) fan. While this team will provide a lot of entertainment, it is an average NFL team. That’s my my assessment.

Chris, what is going on with our defense? Is it the pass rush not getting home or the Db’s playing too soft or both
Christopher Carter
2:47
It's both Sunner. The pass rush hasn't been electric since the opener.
Bill from Va.
2:47
Worst,special teams in the league
Greenfield Gorillas
2:47
Our pass defense is looking very weak
Pirate Pete
2:47
This defense is offensive.
Sean

Colts run  three plays are in field-goal range,
Mark
2:47
I am very concerned about DC Graham.
Neal

No rush no passdefense.
Christopher Carter
2:48
The pass defense is getting shredded but that run defense is tough.
