Defense looks spent

Face it, Gilbert is playing well and boys calling a good game
Brian Batko

Steelers will likely need a takeaway here now to keep the Cowboys off the scoreboard this drive. Which would make this a two-score game and...well...

Has the defense forced a 3 and out all day?
Brian Batko
6:26
Yes, one three-and-out (second possession) And one takeaway after one play on the fumble.
6:27
Good grief. Looks like Zeke Elliott just lunged forward for anothe first down on the ground, on third-and-9.

Brian Batko

Actually, no, I cannot.

Fourth-and-inches...
And Mike McCarthy is gonna kick. Unless he fakes.
Zuerlein hits from 39. Cowboys lead 19-9 with 2:13 left in the third quarter.

Pouncey getting pancaked.  Most overrated player on the team

Brian Batko

Agreed. I don't like that coaching decision if I'm a Cowboys fan (or player).

Kicking FG was a gift.  McCarthy may live to regret that one.

The Off has been slipping for a few weeks now.  If Ben can't keep the box clear with some deeper passes, this Off is just a step above last year with Rudolph.

Not surprising at all. Big letdown after big division win. Typical of Steelers over last several years.

my brother is a Cowboys fan, he was expecting blowout.  I told him its going to be a lot closer than he thinks.  I was right, unfortunately
Romo
6:30
Romo made a good point that he had Capers on his staff and has all of the information he needs to control the game. This has been seen time and time again. Hundley.  SB. 39-38 in 2009, and today.
Michael Mozart

This team need a quick score. Something to change all the momentum. And then they have to stop Romo at QB.
Dwight White

I can believe it. It happens every year. While it is obvious that our defense is not nearly as good as advertised, this all falls on Ben. Everyone wants to blame Tomlin but Ben's performance in these games has been so bad, just as it is today. 6 points against this defense is just awful.

This performance is more on the:

Coaches (45.7% | 21 votes)

Lots of debate in the comments who's to blame today, so let's put it to a vote.

Can’t run and can’t throw deep

We all know today’s   NFL does not allow for undefeated teams.  And these are grown men, professionals.  BUT...yes...this is a VERY typical Tomlin let down game...no preparation whatsoever.  Or at least the wrong preparation.  You don’t play zone against a QB like this!
Rich

Time for two minute offense rest of the game.
WeatherMan

Well if they lose this one, they won't have any reason to feel cocky the rest of the season. :-)
