I get that we all hope Pickett is the guy; the answer.  But the truth is, the odds just aren’t there.  It’s hard.  Most of these guys, even in the first round don’t turn into a franchise guy (e.g. Mayfield) or don’t pan out at all (Josh Rosen, Ryan Leaf, etc).  I’m glad he’s getting these reps, but this team, inclusive of the guys he has calling and designing his offense, just isn’t good enough that we’re truly going to know this season.  Hope he’s strong mentally.
