People are very down on Ebron right now. I can see why they are down on him
Zamo

Steelers need to keep Ballage. So much better than McFarland. McFarland will never be fast willie. Lol.
Zeise
8:49
They are going to keep him. He has made the team
JayZ
8:49
This is against the Lions, Ben has the experience but does he still have the arm?  Yes 43 yd pass but that was a floater and a new line against one of the toughest schedules - will he make it even to half the season?
Zeise
8:50
I know, this is a good warm up game but not sure it translates to doing it against the Bills in week 1

Zamo is spot on, Zeise based and red pilled. Though you sipped a little Kool Aid on that Tomlin column. Lol
Zeise
8:50
No Kool Aid. He has done a good job. He has flaws and needs to win more playoff games but he does a good job
Angie
8:50
I worry about Green.  I have issues with some of Tomlin’s “projects.” Hood, Jarvis Jones, Burns, Cortez Allen.
Zeise
8:51
I have seen enough to know he has a long, long way to go. But I also have seen enough to know he has a skill set and has a chance to be a really good player
A JAMES WASHINGTON SIGHTING!!!

Ebron is playing like the water at Westview Park smelled
AkronSteeler
8:51
Ebron is a bitter-sweet player…..Knows how to get open but has brick hands. Good catch on that last one though
Zeise
8:52
Ebron is getting hammered around here tonight!
The Dude
8:52
Agree the front office has been outstanding
Zeise
8:52
They have added a lot of players and a lot of them will help the cause
Zamo
8:52
I hope the Steelers cut both Ebron and McFarland......  roll with Rader and Gentry (to go with Pat) and keep Ballage.
Zeise
8:52
It won't be Ballage that gets cut
The Dude
8:52
Gonna have to choose between Snell and Samuels
Zeise
8:54
Snell, maybe, doesn't make the team. I am not sure what Samuels brings
JayZ
8:54
It’s the Lions and PreSeason, will get ALOT tougher week 1
Zeise
8:54
Yes, they are awful
Sunner in Orlando
8:54
I was hoping for a pro football team here in Orlando one day.
Zeise
8:54
Didn''t you guys once have an Arena ball team?
John in Florida
8:54
I think with Bush, Schubert, Ingram, Watt, and Highsmith, LB crew is really strong and hopefully we will see some innovative combinations on the field.
Zeise
8:54
Yes, it gives Keith Butler a real chance to move some guys around and be versatile
Angie
8:56
Rudolph has had a nice touch tonight.  2 great passes to Ebron.
Zeise
8:56
Yeah he has played well. Would like to see him convert one of those fades for a TD but he did a pretty good job of driving them from their own goal line
JayZ
8:56
Dead money - might as well keep him.  Is Claypool still a Steeler?
Haven’t heard his name called
Zeise
8:56
He is hurt and not playing
John in Florida
8:56
McFarland up the middle makes little sense.
Zeise
8:57
It probably has to do with the rotation since it is a preseason game. That would obviously be Harris in a regular season game.

I see some Steelers in gold shoes, didn't L. C. Greenwood get fined because he wore gold shoes?
Zeise
8:57
Maybe, but I thought the NFL ended up making some sort of exception for him
John in SC
8:57
Yes it’s the Lions, but Mason is looking good as well.
Zeise
8:57
Like I said, he has played reasonably well
The Dude
8:57
This Lions team is no resemblance to the Bills
Zeise
8:58
They stink
Bubby_Blister
8:58
They keep showing some hotties in the stands, where were they when I was growing up?
Zeise
8:58
Ha Ha Ha - hotties. We needed that kind of levity
