Yes but the question is does Smith-Schuster have the speed to play outside?
Zamo
9:23
Get these guys outta there!!!  Juju doesn’t need to take these hits.  Just dumb
Zeise
9:23
Yeah it makes no sense to have him out there
JayZ
9:23
Wow - Mason still hasn’t gotten a TD
Zeise
9:24
He has made one bad throw - and got away with it
Zamo
9:24
McFarland is like an old cartoon where the feet are moving really fast under a cloud of dust but he’s not going anywhere.... Haha
Zeise
9:24
Yeah he isn't moving the pile
Angie
9:24
How do I get that job holding that parabolic microphone on the sidelines?
Zeise
9:24
I think you have to apply for it!
John in SC
9:24
Are they maybe showcasing Ebron? Still playing but haven’t seen the other 2 TE.
Zeise
9:25
I don't know, again, I just think they want to have certain personnel out there in certain situations
RealFan
9:25
Where was Mason throwing that pass
Zeise
9:25
Trying to jam one in between five guys or so
Angie
9:25
Zamo..so funny.  So true.
JayZ
9:25
Why is Rudolph still in?  He’s got #2 wrapped up, need to make a decision on Haskins and Dobbs - could Dobbs make it through to the practice squad?
Zeise
9:25
Probably just looking to see as much from him as possible?
9:27
Wonderful, JuJu is in the injury tent
RealFan
9:27
ST look good tonight
Zeise
9:27
So far, so good
Patrick B
9:27
Rudolph was lucky that the linebacker couldn’t catch or else Haskins passes him on the depth chart
Zeise
9:27
Based on one throw?
9:29
I hope JuJu did not get injured in the third quarter of this mess
Patrick B
9:29
Rudolph makes bad decisions in big situations. It’s why he got pulled for Duck
Zeise
9:29
He has made one bad throw tonight.

no on total work
Zeise
9:30
Well when someone says "if that guy could catch, he would lose his job" it makes me believe they think that one throw is the difference between him getting passed on the depth chart or not
Angie
9:30
Spillane is a throwback wrap up tackler.
Zeise
9:30
He is an excellent backup linebacker
Mercury
9:30
McFarland always looks one step away from a big run, but he has never once made that one step.
Zeise
9:31
That is so true - he may be really fast but he is never in full stride because he gets tackled so quickly
JayZ
9:31
This is the Lions and Mason has first team offense and still can’t score a TD against the 2nd / 3rd team of the Lions?  Mason definitely knows the offense but dang he just does not make me feel comfortable as a #2.
Zeise
9:31
I will let people argue about the backup quarterback. It is not relevant which guy wins the job to me

This was Rudulph's best game -Moved forward on what would have been a sack- a couple of good throws - just think he is a Malone like QB which is ok but not Super Bowl quality/Steeler standard
Zeise
9:32
Mark Malone? C'mon man
Guest
9:35
Mason does not get in end zone much - typically FG instead and you can not win games in the NFL today that way- relevant back up because Ben will go down at least a game or two and next QB is closer than we think
Yep, mediocre
Zeise
9:35
Andrew Filliponi has just joined the chat!!!
JayZ
9:36
The #2 get more of the work in practice and it’s getting the reps that would help Haskins - while Mason is uh just Mason, he’s not improving he’s at his ceiling
Zeise
9:36
He has indeed improved what are you talking about
JayZ
9:36
Mark Malone was better lol
