Think for a few moments about the Tomlin Coaching Tree.  Other than Arians who was on the staff before Tomlin’s arrival, Tomlin evidences a dead tree. No one is banging down doors to get to his staff.  That tells you everything about stale schemes, the lack of creativity and no in-game adjustments.
