I do and I'm showing my age. How about Harry Kalas and Steve Sabol? They had a similar show. I remember the Len Dawson-Nick Buonticonti "Inside the NFL" on HBO a little more.

You guys are too young, but Irv Cross had the odd hair part because of a fractured skull as a player.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:30
I did not know that.

12:31
Yahya Black, not Derrick Harmon, is lining up with the Steelers starting defense for warmups. But he's at DE with Keeanu Benton still at NT.

Those weekly shows were staples. It might have been the first time you saw highlights from the previous week. Now kids can call up highlights on their smart phones minutes after a play happens.

There are many on the defense playing below what they’re getting paid (Watt, Heyward, etc.). Are there any you think are playing above their pay grade (i.e. providing good value)? The only one I can think of would be Elliott (before he got hurt).
Ray Fittipaldo
12:43
Yeah and he only played a little before he was injured in the opener.

Remember John Facenda? "It was a cold blustery day in Green Bay as Bart Starr and the Packers welcomed Johnny Unitas and the Baltimore Colts." BAM bam buddup... (dramatic music)

John Facenda and Harry Kalas -- both Philadelphia broadcasters who moonlighted for NFL Films. I guess that city was good for something after all.

Is Steelers defense ranked #29 or 30th? Any hope for a turnaround today?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:45
I think there is hope for a turnaround, but I'm not sure it happens today.
Lou
12:47
Harmon is playing yes?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:47
yes

12:48
Does TJ get a sack today? And is his performance enough to help earn a win?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:48
His drought has to end sometime so I'll say yes.
Lou
12:48
Ray do you think Rodgers has had time to go deep and it’s just the WR aren’t open?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:49
First and foremost, he doesn't have the pass pro. But the WRs had a hard time getting open versus Seattle last week.
12:50
OK folks, get those questions ready for Paul Zeise. He'll be taking over close to kickoff and for the rest of the game.
Zeise
12:55
No I won’t….
OK maybe I will….
Let’s get it started

Is Roman Wilson another Limas Sweed?
Lou
12:55
My prediction: TJ gets TWO sacks today because Harmon is going to make it more of an issue to keep double teams on TJ and that’s been the plan for the season all along.

Do you think Harmon will make that much of a difference today?   It would be great but not getting my hopes up.

Patriots to open game leading 7 zip. Tomlin starts panicking with prevent defense and 1 yard passing game ..... in five, four, three ....
Zeise
12:56
Wilson isn’t Sweed and yes Harmon will make a difference
Brian Batko
12:56
OK folks, Ray and I are passing off the chat. National anthem about to start here. Enjoy the game.

Hey Paul! Which D will show up today? Historic or historically bad?
BigBen

Paul, how many TD passes for AR today?
rman

Can we finally let Sneed off the hook.  I'm sure he was a great player.....just not in the NFL
Zeise
1:01
The D will be better, AR will throw for two TDS - prediction time: Steelers 20, Patriots 13

so does Maye have a career day?
Ken

Analytics have this game as a 50/50 toss up.
Zeise

Maye is good but I don’t think he will go off today

Ken
