On Walter, I think he's a drop in all but keeper leagues with several other Astros starters about to come off the IL
Mike
8:06
what to do with Butler?  BA is a consistent drain, but he does generate good counting stats?  Sit for some like Hays or Anthony?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:07
You need to figure out which one will help your team the most
Cheese
8:07
Are you considering starting pitchers prior to the deadline versus after, with possible starts skipped or rotation adjustments after trades?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:08
I'll worry about the effects of the deadline once it has passed. If I have arms going later in the week, I might lean to talent over matchup.
bdubs

Signs of life from Michael Harris ll...jump on it now or need more sustained production?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:09
I'm not buying yet, but I'm encouraged
Philly Cheesesteak
8:09
Painter worth a hold with guys like Walden
Jeff Zimmerman
8:10
I wouldn't want either one for 2025

Nick Pollock really likes Schlittler, and provides good details/stats as to why.  Why are you so down on him?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:12
His 1.55 WHIP is doing as much ratio damage as a 5.81 ERA. I'm trying to win leagues and Schlittler isn't helping

What are the chances David Robertson secures the Phillies closer job within a few weeks?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:12
20%
8:13
I think the Phils will bring a real closer
Dj
8:13
interest in Sears this week for the 2 start?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:13
Some. In deeper leagues, I have some bids in.
HELP
8:13
I have Paredes & Bohm & Goldy in a 12 team roto - I need to drop them all but what is the order?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:14
Paredes is first for sure. He's likely done for the season
brushback33
8:14
Trust SWR with a 2-step...home w/Boston and @CLE?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:14
God no, he's horrible
Robert
8:15
In a 15 teamer that's mid in pitching categories and might need a jump start, who do you prefer to roster, Shane Bieber or Junk of Miami?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:15
Bieber
AL Only Roto
8:15
How much of a $100 budget you throwing at Naylor tonight? (5x5 roto, batting avg league).
Jeff Zimmerman
8:15
$92. I want $1 for one move for each weak from here on out.
LenFuego
8:16
Joe Boyle worth 4% of FAB budget?  Will that get him?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:16
Almost for sure ...
8:17
He went for 1% in NFBC 12-teamers last week
Snell
8:17
Snell worth starting this week or would you wait a week? Thanks!
Jeff Zimmerman
8:18
Starting in most leagues.
Josh Naylor AL Only
8:18
In second place and desperately need a bat - should I use the FAAB hammer I currently have on him? (First place has a few more dollars than I do - but nowhere to fit him) It would be %51 or my original budget)
Jeff Zimmerman
8:18
yes, use it
Iglesias
8:18
Will I be a closer when I'm traded?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:18
About a 50/50 chance
On Spec
8:19
Which spec closer (presently without the job) would you be chasing for saves this weekend?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:19
Lee

Shallow league, have room to roster 1 more. Looking for RBI, AVG, and HR. I Herrera, Laureano, or Royce Loweis?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:19
Laureano
House

Am I going to start hitting for power ?
Jeff Zimmerman
8:20
Doesn't look that way

How do you like to use your bench for the second half of the season? I tend to think you can’t have enough pitching, especially in weekly formats where you can hunt two starts. But everyone else in the league seems to have at least one bench bat
