The .249 OBP, I hope so.  With the Royals out of the playoff picture, at least he won't get demoted. A .580 OPS can't get it.

If the season wasn't ending in two weeks and Newsome had only one start each week ... I'd target him in all leagues. So far the skill set looks legit.
