Dianne

Erin I'm not clever enough to be a dentist but I love being a dental nurse as we get to meet lots of different people and can make sure that they look after their teeth. My favourite patients are all the children as we have lots of fun at the dentist I work at. Eliza if you don't get a filling the tooth will end up hurting because the inside of the tooth is very soft compared to the outside and bacteria and other bugs like to eat away at it really quickly. Nobody likes toothache
Ellie a cavity is a hole in the tooth. L

What’s the most serious thing you can get when you don’t brush your teeth?

How do adult teeth grow?
Dianne

Lacey all your teeth have a different job to do so they all need to be different shapes and sizes

What are wisdom teeth?
Dianne

If you eat an ice lolly you probably have a sensitive tooth and that could be because the gum isn't fitting to the tooth as well as it did or you have a a small flaw in the enamel of your tooth

Why do we need all the different named teeth and why do they have those names
Dianne

Sienna Electric is always the best brush to use. Millie great question you should brush your 20 mins after you eat so it might mean you have to get u a little earlier for school to eat your breakfast. Daisy can you see the answer I popped on above about sensitive teeth? Abi you need to brush away all the food debris that is in your mouth at the end of the day and once you've eaten your breakfast you need to brush them again as any bugs or bacteria hanging around from the day before hopefully gets removed.

What time is it?
Dianne

Millie the most serious thing you can get is an abcess and toothache. An abcess if left untreated can make you very poorly. Erin you are born with your adult teeth already but they grow as you grow to become bigger, then they get to the size that they push out the milk teeth and replace them. Wisdom Teeth are the very back teeth in an adults mouth BUT not every body will have all 4 and some people don't have any at all Olivia

I think Dianne we have asked all the questions we want to ask about teeth, but they are keen to find out what the weather is like where you are?

Liam each of the teeth has a name that relates to its job, they are named after their latin names  for the job it does. Demi your milk teeth have letters so when you have a full set then you will have a-e on each side top and bottom then the adult teeth become numbers so they become 1-8 it helps the nurse to make a chart of your teeth.  Bethany its very late its10.30 at night now. and the weather is warm around 30 degrees but it will drop to around low to mid 20's soon as we are going into winter. We have lots of sunshine too
2:29
We had a very good sunset today over the beach. It was bright red so think we we are in for a sunny, warm day tomorrow
