Have you had any experience with the “Free Rig” in deep grass with smallmouth using a heavy weight and floating bait like a craw that floats or a tube(like the “boob tube”) -have heard bait separates from heavy weight and you snap bait to weight to get reaction bite similar to flipping

I gotta say i have been to Bassmaster AOYs and the Redcrest didnt even come close. Was not to busy at all. People were great everything was fun just wasnt big for what MLF wants to be bigger than the classic
