Well, if you're opening a comic shop, you'll obviously need comic art for the walls. Who are three artists that would have pages or covers on your store's walls on opening day?

I am going to make the assumption that money is not a factor here.

Because, uh, the original art market is still...robust. I am priced out, my friends.

I guess it doesn't have to be original art, but that's where my mind went.

I will give answers for both original art and not original art.

Original Art...

One is something I own. This Christian Ward cover to Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol. Who Knows) #23.

That would definitely be in there because it's great and why would I not put it up there.

I would also try and buy an original piece from a book market creator, like Raina Telgemeier or Faith Erin Hicks or Kazu Kibuishi, that way I could highlight someone in that space.

And my final original art pick, something reasonably possible, would be to get a Chris Samnee commission to put up there, something that is broadly applicable and likeable (i.e. Spider-Man or Batman).

Non-Original Art...

I'd get one of those Daniel Warren Johnson prints, the ones featuring all of his characters, and put that up.

And lastly...boy this is tough.

I'd find Kate Beaton and beg her to let me make prints of her Nemesis strips from Hark! A Vagrant and put those up together.

Is Klay Thompson cooked? Also, will we get a DAZN fight between Scott Foster and Chris Paul. Like a Jake Paul fight undercard?

Klay Thompson is not cooked, unless you mean he's not peak Klay Thompson anymore.

Klay Thompson will be a useful basketball player this year, and it's impossible for him to shoot this poorly forever.

But he's not a great player anymore, mostly because he just isn't a good defender anymore, and doesn't do anything else besides shoot.

He's a DH, a shooter with elite gravity and little else.

And yes, I would love to see that fight.

My hot take is Scott Foster should not be an NBA referee. His bias is too well known and it's ludicrous that the league accepts it.

I hate it.
