@jonathan - One of the curators at the Smithsonian who specializes in Space popular culture (think Flash Gordon, Star Trek, etc) wrote a book about it and visited our local university to give a presentation at the Planetarium. I went and saw her after the show. I told her I had some golden age Flash Gordon original comic art (not Raymond) and asked about donating it to the collection. She was interested. Nowhere on par with your plans, but it’s the closest I got. LOL.

Eastman loved all that '70s and '80s stuff he grew up with. So had a bunch of Miller, BWS, Wrightson, you name it

@Pat L...yeah, for a song. Sold all 12 CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTH COVERS in a lot for peanuts to a flipper, as one example.

It sounds like it was pretty dreamy. He’s not my favorite artists, but he had great taste and A LOT of loose money. Not that any of that cost  anything back then.
