He and Rusney Castillo should start a support group.  Not sure if "unfair" is the right word for guys making that kind of money, but it does kind of suck that they can't earn their way back to MLB because they were overpaid coming out of Cuba.  They'll need to get released to be able to get a fresh shot.

How did you come up with the name for MLBTR? I obviously love the site, but I’m not a fan of the name becuase whenever I reference you guys, people who don’t know the site say “but it’s just a rumor”

That's an interesting point.  I think I just wanted something I thought people might be Googling.  There have been times over the years where the "rumors" has hurt us.  I believe the BBWAA wasn't a fan of it when we applied several years ago.  By now it is what it is, but it could be a deterrent for new readers.

Braun is probably up there on the MLB villain list, outside of Milwaukee, but A) he's still a pretty good hitter and B) he's still super rich.  All MLB players will become bad at some point, but I try not to root for it.

I like that idea in theory, but we have a lot of work to do on the web version of it before that can be considered.  I'm hoping to make it mobile-friendly enough where maybe an app will be unnecessary.

I am many years removed from daily news coverage, so it's a better question for Steve or Jeff.  Could see them having some Tebow fatigue, but it's only tangentially connected to what we cover, so it's fine.

On TV, I don't like to watch any other sport.  I kind of like playing basketball in a casual way, though I'm really bad at it.  Same with softball.  Also, Frisbee...is that a sport?
