I haven't seen a list, but teams' beat writers are regularly tweeting where they're at percentage-wise. If you have a Twitter account, you should be able to find info on certain clubs with the search function.

There is very little input on how the Astros players deal with Dusty Baker. Clearly, he is not the long-term manager for the Astros. Do you see him being there beyond this year? If not who is the heir apparent? In reality, he was forced upon the players. In hindsight, would it not to have been better for an interim manager and for Hinch to return after serving his suspension? Was his firing an under-the-table deal with the league by Mr. Crane where the Commissioner couldn't do it?

I don't think the Astros had any choice but to wash their hands of Hinch. It's not the same as the Cora situation in Boston, as he was temporarily banned for what happened in Houston - not with the Red Sox. I think the Astros could have done way worse than Baker, one of the winningest managers of all-time and someone who has done well in Houston. They went to the ALCS last year and should contend for a playoff spot this season. We'll see what happens after that. Baker's not under contract for 2022.

Myles Straw looks to be 4th OF at best which is fine and teams need depth.  Obviously there are luxury tax potential issues with the Astros, which leaves fewer options for a trade.  Looking at Colorado, Tapia and Hampson seem to be relatively cheaper players who both seem to be a upgrade over Straw.  Not sure either is the type of player who will be in Colorado's future.  What would the cost of them be and would they be good targets for Astros for CF?

Another Astros question. I'm not surprised the Straw experiment isn't working out. That's not to pat myself on the back, though, as I advocated for the Astros to sign Jackie Bradley Jr., who's off to a terrible start. I'd rather have Tapia or Hampson than Straw, but neither player is a world-beater & shouldn't command any kind of big return in a trade. They've been replacement-level types to this point, though the low salaries and multiple years of team control are nice.

Although he has another year of arbitration eligibility, do you see the Mariners moving Mitch Haniger at the deadline this year given the influx of young Outfield talent that the team has coming up through the minors?

I could see it if the Mariners fall out of the AL West race. Right now, it looks pretty wide open.

Will the Cards DO ANYTHING? I dig it's early but why not proactive.

Nobody does much in April. The Mike Tauchman trade the other day counts as a "blockbuster" relative to the calendar.

Higgy or Gary?

Go with the hot hand. Sanchez doesn't deserve a stranglehold on that job anymore.

What kind of impact with Dalton Varsho have for the D-Backs during his recent call-up and will he carve out a role with the big club?

I'm bullish on Varsho eventually emerging as a regular, whether it's this year or after.
