I think Kershaw was a special target. Woodward loves him, geographical ties, etc.

Even if they traded for Sean Manaea or Frankie Montas, they probably aren't a playoff team this season. I'd be content with what they've done while accepting that this year is still more of a bridge to 2023 than an all-out push for contention

Probably Texas. Didn't expect them to sign either of the top five shortstops, certainly hadn't anticipated them going after both

Not sure if my numbers are correct, but I think 43 of the MLBTR top 50 free agents have signed (and Kyle Seager retired).  Of those signings, 18 (42%) were signed by the Cubs (4), Dodgers (5), Giants (5), and Mets (4) -- and the Rangers signed another 3.  Big market teams continuing to scoop up more than their share of top free agents.  Any thoughts?

Have to look at overall guarantees or weighing it somehow to count the top guys more
Of course the larger market teams are still going to come out on top generally, but the Mariners signed Robbie Ray and the Rockies signed Bryant. It wasn't just the Mets, Dodgers and Rangers
